AAU Wins Patent Rights for Five New Innovations in CDT-Africa Findings It is announced that its CDT-Africa initiative, the East Africa Centre of Excellence, has received intellectual property patent rights for five newly developed inventions, following certification by the Ethiopian Intellectual Property Authority. The patent rights were granted in accordance with Articles 14 and 42 of Proclamation Concerning Innovation, Minor Inventions and Industrial Design, No. 123/1995, with the authority issuing the corresponding Utility Model Patents on June 29, 2026.
