This strange yet beautiful phenomenon occurred at the worst possible time for my country. Apparently, this is a phenomenon called a “Candilazo” or “Rayleigh scattering.” This optical phenomenon occurs when sunlight travels long distances through the atmosphere during sunsets or sunrises. The reddish hue of the sunset depends not only on the position of the Sun, but also on the obstacles in its path. The presence of airborne particles—such as dust, smoke, aerosols, or moisture—enhances the scattering of reddish hues, making sunsets much more vibrant.

I might do a sketch for a commission and create an adoptable character. Any ideas on what the adoptable should be right now?

Hello everyone! I wanted to give you an update. Yesterday, my husband and I decided to set up our workstations once again in an attempt to regain some sense of normalcy, despite the circumstances we are currently living through. While we were not among those severely affected, unlike some of our fellow countrymen, we have not been able to rest properly due to the anxiety of experiencing another major tremor. Fortunately—or unfortunately—we have only experienced mild aftershocks so far. Personally, I have not been feeling well at all with this situation. It has truly depressed me and put me in a state of horrible stress. The feeling of helplessness, of not being able to help those close to me, has been overwhelming. However, thanks to one of my fellow artists, I've also been motivated to organize fundraising efforts to send donations to rescue teams and relief efforts in my country. Hello. As I mentioned earlier, I'd like to update you on our current situation. Fortunately, things have calmed down a bit and we're relatively safe—though not entirely at ease. We keep receiving warnings about small tremors near our area, which makes it hard to get proper rest. Some neighbors have even chosen to sleep in the parking lot, afraid that our building might collapse while we're asleep. While we've managed to restore some communication and have some electricity, those are resources we could easily lose again at any moment. So all we can do right now is stay calm and stay alert for any eventualities. Honestly, this is a situation I wouldn't wish on anyone. There are many injured, missing, and unfortunately, deceased people. It's truly heartbreaking. Despite everything, we'll be looking into how to resume commissions and YCHs as soon as possible. I hope you can understand our situation and have a bit of patience. I deeply appreciate your support and understanding. Wishing you all a good night.

Good evening, everyone! I just wanted to let you know that my husband and I are safe following the strong earthquake that struck our country, Venezuela. The situation was quite serious in terms of the infrastructure in our area. The building itself isn’t too badly damaged (we’re still waiting for more information), but we’re without power because several power poles fell due to the strong tremor. Tomorrow, or as soon as the signal improves, I’ll post photos of the situation. This means that, for OBVIOUS reasons, we won’t be able to fulfill orders as soon as planned; we’ll keep you updated.
