Search is becoming an API, models are running locally, and open source is gradually moving into self-maintenance mode. Let’s break down the main news of the week: 🌐 AI now fits into a laptop Google rolled out Gemma 4 12B — a model that: ⏺ runs on a regular laptop with 16 GB of RAM ⏺ understands text + images + audio ⏺ almost catches up with a version twice its size ⏺ is open under Apache 2.0, so it can be used in production 🧩 Microsoft is turning search into an “API for AI” Microsoft introduced Web IQ — not a search engine for people, but a search system for agents. Instead of links, it provides: ⏺ snippets ⏺ “evidence” in a structured format ⏺ JSON directly into the model without post-processing 💻 A monitor that chooses what it wants to be MSI introduced an OLED monitor with several modes: ⏺ 4K / 360 Hz ⏺ 2K / 520 Hz ⏺ Full HD / 680 Hz 🤖 OpenAI opened the application form for the Codex for Open Source program. Codex for OSS is a program for maintainers of open-source projects: 1. AI helps review pull requests 2. automatically highlights bugs 3. speeds up code review 4. reduces the workload for developers What do participants get? If a project is selected, developers receive: ✅ access to Codex tools ✅ API credits ✅ access to AI-powered security analysis ✅ 6 months of ChatGPT Pro in some program packages 💻 Python under pressure Python ecosystem has faced PyPI blocks in certain regions. What does this mean? ⏺ broken CI/CD pipelines ⏺ package installation issues ⏺ developers looking for mirrors and workarounds This directly impacts the infrastructure of software development as a whole. BONUS: At Computex 2026, a replacement for thermal paste was presented: ✅ carbon nanotubes ✅ they do not dry out for years ✅ they even improve over time ✅ they adapt to the surface The first such thermal pads will come bundled with the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D and will also be sold separately under the name Noctua NT-CP1 for AM5/AM4 platforms Which news from the past week stood out to you the most?

🔐 Why is 2FA now mandatory at Aéza? Hi everyone, we know that extra login steps can feel inconvenient. But keeping our clients’ accounts and infrastructure secure comes first. Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of protection. Even if someone gets hold of your password, they still won’t be able to access your account without an additional confirmation step. 🖥 That’s why we have made 2FA mandatory for all Aéza users. After entering your login and password, the system will ask you to confirm your sign-in using one of the following methods: 🖥 Through an authenticator app. 🖥 Through Telegram (just confirm the login in our bot with one click). To enable it, go to: ⚙️ Account → Settings → Security → 2FA. We also recommend saving your backup codes right away. They will help you restore access to your account if you lose your phone or delete your authenticator app. A few minutes spent setting up 2FA can protect your servers, services, and data, The Aéza Team ❤️

if (date == “01.06”) { season = “SUMMER”; mood = “VACATION”; } ☀️ Well, friends, the season of vacations, holidays, road trips, late-night walks, and BBQs officially begins! June 1 is celebrated as International Children’s Day in many countries, which is why the first day of summer has long been associated with carefree moments, relaxation, and good vibes. 🗓 And here’s a fun fact: summer lasts only 92 days… So the Aéza team wishes you to make the most of them — visit new places, eat more watermelon than you thought possible, and soak up as much sunshine as you can! Happy first day of summer, Your Aéza ❤️

🔄 MAINTAINING THE BALANCE BETWEEN PRICE AND QUALITY Friends, our goal is to maintain the best price-to-hardware ratio on the market. That is why we are carefully indexing our plans and bringing the euro exchange rate to a more up-to-date level, while keeping the familiar cost of services in rubles. What will change: ⏺ prices on aeza.net will be indexed ⏺ prices on aeza.ru will remain unchanged ⏺ hourly rates will be adjusted to make long-term servers more profitable and stable ⏺ the cost of some dedicated servers will also be adjusted due to price changes from our infrastructure partners And most importantly: 🗣 all services paid for BEFORE the indexation will keep the old conditions for the entire paid period. This means you can safely renew your server for several months or even a year in advance and lock in the current price. 📅 The changes will take effect on 01.06.2026. With care, the Aéza team❤️

⚙️ NEW RECIPES IN Aéza Friends, we’ve added new auto-install recipes to the panel. This is a feature that takes a boring 50-step instruction… and does everything for you. Usually, installing a service looks like this: 👀 open the documentation 👀 connect to the server 👀 copy commands into the terminal 👀 configure something 👀 make a mistake somewhere 👀 open the documentation again 👀 create a user 👀 come up with a password With recipes, it’s much easier: 🖥 choose the software you need 🖥 click the button 🖥 the server installs and pre-configures everything by itself A recipe can install dependencies, configure the environment, create an admin user, prepare the web interface, or launch the service. Recipes are useful if you don’t want to spend a lot of time on setup, the software instructions are too long, you just want to quickly test a service, or you are renting a server for the first time. ✅ Aéza currently has dozens of recipes available from Docker and FastPanel to n8n, Open WebUI + Ollama, Nextcloud, Jellyfin, GitLab, and more! But don’t forget: a recipe installs the software for you — it doesn’t teach you how to use it. So if you’re deploying something complex, it’s still better to at least understand what exactly you’re launching on your server. Tell us in the comments how often you use recipes ❤️

📕 IT NEWS AND USEFUL INSIGHTS According to analysts, in 2026 attackers are increasingly moving away from loud DDoS attacks toward more discreet and dangerous methods: attacks through web applications, credential theft, APT groups, and malware infections targeting infrastructure. What is happening now: ⏺the number of web attacks on industrial companies has increased by 32% ⏺the share of APT attacks has doubled, reaching 38% ⏺hackers are increasingly targeting contractors and suppliers, not only large enterprises ⏺attacks through web application vulnerabilities and account compromise are becoming more common ⏺automated tools and hidden persistence inside infrastructure are becoming the standard ☝🏻 At the same time, classic DDoS attacks have not disappeared. Attackers have simply started acting in a more targeted and effective way. A particularly important conclusion: small and medium-sized businesses that are part of the supply chains of large companies are increasingly coming under attack. ——— That is why basic cybersecurity is no longer optional, it is a necessity: ⏺ web application protection ⏺ infrastructure redundancy ⏺ monitoring of suspicious activity ⏺ service segmentation ⏺ fault-tolerant VPS and dedicated servers Infrastructure must be ready not only for traffic growth, but also for attempts to take it offline. The earlier you start thinking about this, the lower the chance of waking up one morning to find your project unavailable.

❗ 3 signs your project is ready to move to a VPS Friends, today we’ll talk about a topic many people are familiar with: moving from regular hosting to a VPS. For experienced users, this may seem obvious. But we often see new projects facing the same problems for months: slow website performance, tariff limitations, and sudden failures when the load increases. In simple terms: shared hosting means that one server’s resources are shared between many users. A VPS gives you your own dedicated resources and more control over your server environment. So we decided to briefly go over the most common signs that show your project is starting to outgrow regular shared hosting. Let’s take a small online store as an example. At the beginning, everything worked perfectly: ✔️ regular shared hosting ✔️ a CMS-based website ✔️ a small number of orders and stable performance But the project started growing and the first limitations appeared. 🚨 Sign #1 — the website starts slowing down More users come in, and problems begin: … pages take too long to load … the admin panel freezes … users cannot complete their orders The reason is simple: on shared hosting, server resources are divided between all the projects hosted on that server. A VPS solves this with dedicated resources and more stable performance. 🚨 Sign #2 — hosting limitations start holding you back The project needs additional services, caching, and more flexible settings — and suddenly it turns out that: … some things cannot be installed … some features are limited by your tariff … every small setting requires contacting support With a VPS, you manage the server and its environment yourself, without constant hosting restrictions. 🚨 Sign #3 — website downtime starts costing money When your project becomes part of a business, any instability turns into a real problem. If the website goes down during an advertising campaign or a sale, you lose customers, orders, and ad budget. That’s why a VPS is no longer just an “advanced option” — it’s a natural stage in a project’s growth. Most projects do not move to a VPS because they need complex infrastructure. The reason is usually much simpler: the project has simply outgrown the capabilities of regular hosting. ❤️ You can choose the right plan for your project here.

💻 Happy Freelancer Day! Today, freelancing is a natural part of the IT and digital world, but just a few decades ago, the idea of working outside an office seemed unusual. 📝 The term “freelance” dates back to the 19th century. It was first used by writer Walter Scott in his novel Ivanhoe, where it referred to mercenary warriors who didn’t serve a single ruler, but instead took contracts from different people. Over time, the word evolved to describe independent professionals. Today, freelancers build websites and applications, manage servers, write content, work in design, marketing, analytics, and maintain the infrastructure behind major projects. The Aéza team congratulates all freelancers! Thank you for your flexibility, independence, ability to adapt, and for working from anywhere in the world. May your projects stay exciting, your deadlines realistic, and your internet connection stable wherever you are ❤️ 👇 Let’s do a freelancer roll call in the comments and see how many of you are here with us!

YOU ALREADY HAD A WEBSITE! But you didn’t build it… 🔍 Research from Google and Microsoft shows one consistent pattern in user behavior: People are far more likely to delay taking action not because they lack skills, but because the starting point feels overwhelming and too complex. That’s exactly why most projects never get launched. It’s not about complexity, it’s about the fear of starting. 🗂 It used to be that way, launching your own website required development, setup, and dealing with a ton of unknowns. As a result, even the best ideas stayed stuck at the concept stage. Today, things are much simpler, but not everyone has realized it yet. Now, you don’t need weeks to launch a site. A basic solution is enough, where everything is already set up: ⏺ website and domains ⏺ ready-to-use control panel ⏺ SSL and databases ⏺ one-click WordPress installation Now there’s only one question left , what’s stopping you from starting? Even a simple website launched in one evening is already a result you can build on. Who here has experience launching a website? Share it in the comments.

⌨️ ALL GENIUS IS SIMPLE It’s 2026, yet launching a basic website still feels like a whole quest for a lot of people. First, it seems like you have to figure out hosting and all the technical stuff. Then it starts to feel overwhelming and time-consuming. After that, you want to prepare everything perfectly… and in the end, it just gets pushed to “later.” So the idea stays just an idea. The truth is, today you can launch something of your own in a single evening. For example: 🖱 a landing page for a service or portfolio 🖱 a small online store 🖱 a niche blog 🖱 a news or corporate website We’re curious to hear your take! 🤔 If you had a free evening, what would you launch? Drop it in the comments. And soon, we’ll show you that getting projects like this live in one evening is actually possible. Aéza team ❤️
