Make everyone around you replaceable
Just because you need others to survive, shouldn't make you dependent on anyone

The state of your mind decides how well your body functions.
The body is the house of your mind. Without a good house, the mind can't function well.
Keep your mind healthy through mediation, journaling and quality content.
Keep your body healthy through exercise and good food.
Destroy one, and the other gets destroyed with it. Take care of one, and the other performs well.

Alright, the next post will be on the importance of will power and how you can boost it
464
In this, you might gain the urge to quit. You would want to go back to your old, comfortable life. But if you want to move further in life, you’ll have to fight the urge.
Take this phase as a challenge and stay strong.
3. Expanding Your Thought Process or Introspection
Finally, the best solution is to expand your thought process or introspect. This is one of the best ways out of darkness.
It would have been impossible for me to come out if I hadn’t kept questioning every single thing I knew. And the questions naturally drove me towards the answers.
At the same time, I consumed a lot of content. Every question that I had, I watched multiple videos on it. And introspected over everything I heard and read.
Remember to avoid coming up with quick conclusions during this process. Have a clear intent to seek the true answer. Find out what got you into the darkness. Find out the loopholes in your thought process.
Once you have detected the loop holes, as I did, it will become easier to get back on track. And the light will come back way stronger than ever before.
I have discussed the process of expanding the thought process in the previous post.
4. Brainwashing
Brainwashing is an additional process that you can use.
Currently, I do not use it. But many people benefit from it. I cannot guarantee the outcome in the long run. But at least for the next few years, you’ll never experience darkness.
In simple words, brainwash yourself completely with a “why”. Have a reason so strong to achieve everything that you want, nothing can ever stop you.
You should be so dedicated to your goal that you never take out time to question your beliefs or ideas. Neither should you let anyone question you. All your time should be spent towards your goal.
As mentioned, I cannot guarantee the long-term effect. But for now, it works for many people.
If monetary success is all that you want, this can work perfectly for you.
Alright, that will be all.
If you have questions, let me know in the comments.
I’ll see you in the next post.

For instance, in your mind, you have certain categories for people. When someone seems to have even 1 quality of a certain category, you instantly put them in that category.
To give a precise example, this can often be seen when you categorize someone to be leftist or rightist. Or conservative and liberal. All you saw was 1 quality and immediately you categorized them. You judge them.
But if you recall the previous post, I mentioned that judgement is an essential part of your life.
And this leads to the formation of a dilemma. It creates a confusion whether judging is wrong or necessary. And naturally, you end up continuing the process of judgement. Even though you might say you are not doing so.
So, is there a line we can draw to know when and when not to judge?
No. What you can do is become aware of your thought process and action.
You should know the reason behind your judgement. Are you judging to validate your beliefs, or are you judging to separate right from wrong? If it is the former, stop right there. Stop your want to make conclusions and shift to asking questions.
Asking questions is the solution to stop making wrongful conclusions. Every time you ask a question, you get to know more than you know right now. Your curiosity will naturally bring more answers. And once you have all the answers, you’ll be in the right position to make conclusions.
But what about conclusions regarding physical action like making a decision in business or habits? When you have to choose what’s right to do. Because to know what’s right, you’ll have to judge it.
The answer is stop “believing” and start “trying”. If you believe something will work, you’ll continue doing it even when the method cannot work (same for your beliefs). At the same time, stop “not believing” that the method will work. Else you’ll stop doing it before it shows result.
Rather, approach any method with the sole purpose of trying it. You can still select methods based on their past success, but do not have a belief or dis-belief towards it.
Only have a clear intent to try and find out.
If you have been reading my previous posts, you should know why I am paying so much focus on something that sounds ridiculous to most people.
Now, those were the major lessons I learnt. I encourage you to read it again before moving ahead to: “How to Escape Darkness”
How To Escape Darkness
1. Identification
Before you try to escape darkness, be a 100% sure that you are in it. There’s a high chance you are simply lacking a will to act.
If you know what you want to achieve and why you want to achieve but don’t know how, then you are not stuck in darkness. All you need is to do something or get some guidance from a mentor or coach.
Even if you know “what” you want to achieve, there’s a high chance you are not stuck in darkness. You simply act an inner fire to act.
But if you have reached a place where suddenly all your beliefs break down. You lose the “what”, “why” and “how”. You might still have the will to keep doing what you are doing, but you wouldn’t know why you are doing it.
In my case, I continued writing these articles. I continued exercising. I continued all my habits. Because I knew how to stay consistent. But all my beliefs were slowly breaking down. I was stuck with dilemmas.
For you, it might feel quite different. What’s important is that you’ll feel a certain darkness. It cannot be expressed in words, but you’ll see everything weirdly.
For those who know what I am talking about, they’ll know how it feels.
Once you know you are in darkness, the 1st step is to fight the urge to quit.
2. Fighting the Urge to Quit
In darkness, you’ll gain a great urge to quit. Because fighting darkness is mentally exhaustive. You’ll have to have constant discussions inside of your head.
Day in and day out, you’ll start questioning everything around the beliefs that broke. The entire day, I used to question our entire existence.

When I Couldn’t See the Light Ahead
Disclaimer
The post contains content that might sound discouraging or demotivating. But I have not written the post with any such intention. I request you to interpret it in the manner that helps you grow, and ask any necessary question.
Context, Discoveries and Lessons
As I have always recommended, I constantly question everything I know. Even the most basic concepts and belief.
The 1st time I asked such a question was almost 1.5 years ago. I looked at the sky and the question struck me. “The sky is blue, but how do we know that everyone’s blue is the same?”
While you can answer the question scientifically, you cannot truly answer the question. We all might actually see different blues.
The 1st time I asked, it gave me hope. Hope to have a greater purpose in life than the material life.
But recently, when the questions came back, they came like a punch to my face. A large chunk of my beliefs stopped making sense. And it led me to believe that there’s no purpose to life. And at the end, nothing that we do matters (neither to us, nor the Universe).
(Important: The beliefs I am referring to here that stopped making sense aren’t the ones I have ever shared. Everything shared before this post are techniques that will hold their value for a long time)
For weeks, I had a discussion with myself. Trying to prove and disprove my new theory at the same time. Before I knew, I was stuck in a dark phase where I didn’t know what to do and why to do.
Until I realized I was having an internal discussion over the purpose of life, without knowing what life is.
We all have metaphors and comparisons to explain life. But if I ask you, “What is life?”, how many of you can give a straightforward answer?
Yet everyone is busy defining the purpose of life. We all are busy making conclusions while we know nothing.
This does not just end at the purpose of life. Almost every conclusion that we have is based on nothing but assumptions. Assumptions, that in most cases, are wrong.
The second we hear something; we have an opinion. An opinion solely based on what we already know. And if you carefully think about it, you don’t know even 1% about life or any part of life. All you know is all you have heard somewhere randomly.
For instance, I realized that so many of the philosophical thoughts we hear are mere comparisons. This made me question if all religious and ancient texts are metaphors and comparisons.
Sounds like a legit question, right? After all, how do we know everything mentioned in ancient text is supposed to have a literal and direct interpretation? And that led me to strengthening my concept of “God is not the creator, but the creation” (A topic for some other day).
But when you put a stop to this bullshit thought process and try to understand what’s going on, you’ll realize that I was making an assumption. I took a pattern I found in philosophical thoughts and ideas and blindly used it to interpret ancient text. Which, as you guessed, we cannot do.
(Important: When I say “Philosophical Thoughts”, I am not referring to ancient philosophies. Currently, I have no personal interest in reading them. What I am referring to are thought and ideas you often come across on the web or elsewhere. These comprises any such ideas that compare 1 thing to another to explain one of those things)
What’s interesting is that we are constantly making use of such patterns.
We find a pattern and use it elsewhere as if its application is universal. But it is not. Often, the pattern does not even exist. It was a mere fact about something we experienced and should end there.
But our need for survival, and to some extent our laziness, forces us to form and use such patterns. By selectively using such patterns, you constantly strengthen your ideas and thoughts about someone or something.
Even worse, such patterns can be used to fool and even program you.

Let’s understand both 1 at a time.
First: Why to write a book and not write for self?
Once you write for others, you’ll naturally take into consideration the objections that people will have to your words. You’ll simplify your words and clear out the fluff.
If you write for yourself, you’ll reach a dead end. You won’t be able to truly explain, while your words will make sense to you. Because our own words always make sense to us. It's a form of survival mechanism. You want to be confident about your beliefs.
So, start writing a book from today. Dedicate each chapter to one piece of your knowledge and experiences. And refine the words using every objection you can think of.
You don’t have to publish it. All you have to do is write it.
Second: Have discussions that challenge your beliefs
The best way to refine your knowledge is by letting others find out the crap in your beliefs.
Initially, let everyone and anyone challenge you. But with time, start being more selective of which discussions you take part in.
Most people will always think they are better than you because they “lived” more years that you. They will always try to defy your knowledge.
If you want to maintain your peace, you’ll have to avoid most discussions.
To clearly understand which discussions to avoid, start introspecting over every discussion you have. Find out what you got out of a discussion. Did you learn something or did you simply waste your time?
Once you have refined your knowledge, keep repeating the process. Do not get stuck with the same level of content or discussions.
Find people who can guide you further. If you can’t find one, become your own guide. Continue practicing what you have learnt.
There will be phases in the journey that will feel dark. In the future articles, I will talk about it. For now, start introspecting over everything that you know. Start consuming better content, including mine, a few great TG channels (will recommend on Monday) and good YouTube content creators. And start writing your book.
If you have questions or topic recommendations, let me know.

Expanding Your Thought Process Part 2: The Process
In the Part 1, we discussed the necessity to grow your thought process. Before moving forward, I highly recommend you to read it from here.
In the previous post, I hinted that the solution has already been given. The solution is already in every single piece of content that you consume.
No, it’s not just meditation. It is not just journaling. None of the techniques you have read is the solution. Rather, it starts with those pieces of content you consume. The problem starts when you stop right there. You never move ahead. You get stuck.
Let’s understand what I am talking here:
Every single piece of content you consume is an inspiration. It is a catalyst. For you to think. It’s not an end.
You are not just supposed to read something and believe in it. You are supposed to understand it and experience it.
Even if you have taken the route of religion, give yourself time to deeply understand and experience the words, insights and tools that you get from your religion.
People often think you have to blindly follow religion. While, it’s not true. You can experience it if you have the clear intent to.
Possibly you cannot explain it, but your ability to explain does not matter as much as your ability to experience.
And this is where so many people go wrong. They read something and boom; they have an instant opinion.
I am not asking you to know everything. Even I don’t know everything. But before you form an opinion, ask yourself if you truly know it.
Now, I don’t care how you behave when you are with others. If want to have an opinion just to fit in, I don’t care at all. I am not here to explain how you should be while you are with others.
But when you are with yourself, stop blindly believing and forming opinions. Start consuming more content and giving yourself time to think about it.
Whether you think about it while sitting or walking is your business.
What matters is that you do it. But preferably do it in the morning or night. Should depend on your state of mind.
Find a time in your day when you are not worried about material world problems. During that time, just think. Normally those times are early morning and night.
What to think about?
The content you consumed. The way you behaved. The reasonings you give behind your behavior. Understand that all your reasonings are bullshit and should end once you are alone.
Find out every narrative you came across in the day. Believe me, there will be many. All you have to ask is, "How do I know this to be true." You'll automatically be led towards the answer.
If the content you consume is mediocre, change it. Find a few people who can guide you and start consuming their content. Have a clear intent to understand their words. Stop blindly accepting their words.
As a reminder from the previous post, if you do not have a fire to go in this direction, it’s absolutely okay. You can continue doing what you are doing.
That’s how most people are forever going to be. They are forever going to “enjoy life” on their terms. Or to be specific, on society's terms.
But if you have the fire for something more, then you have to take this path.
Now, thinking is just the 1st step.
Thoughts can often be highly mis-leading. After all, it all sounds wonderful in your head. Your plans and ideas are all perfect as long as they are just thoughts.
Making it important to take a step further and make sense of your thoughts.
I did mention that often you might not be able to explain you experiences. But right now you don’t have the Truth from your experience. You have thoughts. from the knowledge you consumed. And these thoughts are words as well.
As long as you are with your words, it’s beneficial to get rid of the fluff in it.
You can do so in 2 ways. First, start writing a book. Second, have discussions that challenge your beliefs.

Moving on, there’s something important we need to understand regarding the importance of not getting distracted by fake problems and solutions.
I do not care about the millions of people who do not even focus on fake problems. Those people who are watching Netflix all day with a bag of chips.
If they are happy with it, it’s great. More power to them. If they love their job, it’s great. If they love watching porn, it’s great. I do not care enough to worry about all of them and bring them on my path just because I think my path is great.
But for you, who is working on the fake problems, but can’t see through them, you got some serious problems you need to deal with.
You need to look intentionally through these fake problems to find out the real problem and form your own solutions.
After all, you have chosen this path. If your path is to let life pass by while watching Netflix and having a job you hate just to make a few bucks, then go ahead and do it. Because those won't be distractions for you.
But if you have chosen a different path, you cannot live your whole life dealing with fake problems. And let me tell you, fake problems and solutions are in abundance.
For instance, for someone who is seeking truth, philosophy can become a distraction. Because most of the philosophy is based upon comparisons, not on truth (for example, they'll compare life to xyz, but can't explain what life is).
And you cannot find the real problem and solution unless you expand your thought process.
If you continue focusing solely on your petty problems, you’ll never be able to solve your problems until it is too late.
You’ll keep jumping from one solution to another. Every day you surf the internet for the secret solution. And none of them will work.
Because all the solutions you’ll find solve the problem that does not even exist. The problems are mere excuses.
To give a few examples: “I wasn’t born into a rich family,” “My family won’t support me,” “It’s impossible to work where I live,” etc.
They are all excuses. If you truly want to change, you won’t expect life to be fair. You’ll accept your situation and make the best out of it.
Now, I cannot define what the real problem is for you. You figure that out.
For me, love solved all the problems. Once I started loving everything I did, none of the petty problems could distract me. I no longer need techniques to stay focused and consistent.
You, my friend, will have to dig out the real problem on your own. And you cannot do that without expanding your thought process.
As long as you limit your thinking, you’ll stay stuck. You’ll be throwing yourself from 1 solution to another. You’ll keep on doing what everyone asks you to do. And nothing will work.
Every day, you'll get busy with the distractions that the modern world throws at you. Because of the fear of missing out, you'll keep trying to walk on every path, without clarity and direction.
Thus, the necessity to expand your thought process, zoom out, and look at reality as it is.
We will discuss the method to expand your thought process in the next part. If you have questions so far, let me know.
I’ll see you in the next post.
Until then,
STAY BASED
PS: Before I post the next Part, I want you to do some work. I have already provided you with the solution in this post. Find it out if you can and let me know.

Expanding Your Thought Process Part 1: The Necessity
Over the past few days, I have shared articles on consistency, focus, habit formation, procrastination, motivation, and a few other topics
If you study, you’ll find a unique pattern.
In every article, I have focused more on understanding the problem than on giving you solutions.
Because, in reality, all your problems and solutions are distractions. They distract you from the real problem. Especially the solutions. You can have a look at any of the articles and you’ll know what I am talking about.
Almost every solution you’ll find on the web is a distraction. In the short term, it might work. But in the long run, it cannot work.
Be it atomic habits, Pomodoro technique, focus music, or in most cases, even habits like meditation (these have been mentioned only for the purpose of example. With an appropriate knowledge of the real problem, these can work for individuals).
They threw all the solutions at you to keep you busy and never give you the chance to think. Do they do this on purpose? Not really. Everyone is just asleep. They are giving you the same solutions they use.
Taking into consideration that most of you started your true transformation journey only recently, it’s easy to get blinded by most of the solutions and petty problems. Because either it will work for you in the short run, or you’ll be made to believe that you haven’t tried long enough.
To understand this better, think about all the solutions I mentioned above (atomic habits, Pomodoro technique, etc). Why do you need them?
In most cases, it is because you cannot focus for a long period. So you fool yourself into focus for a short period.
Let me ask you 2 things:
-Do you say to yourself “Oh it’s so difficult to watch a movie for 2 hrs. Let’s just start with 10 mins”?
-How long do you expect these petty solutions to work?
To answer the 1st question: You never do that. Because you love movies. The real problem is that you do not love what you need to be doing.
This leads us to the answer to the 2nd question: 1 day you will quit because you hate what you do.
It does not matter how much you try to stay consistent. If you hate the work, you’ll quit it.
Currently, you can continue solving the fake problems until you find the real problem. But you cannot spend your entire life getting fooled with fake problems.
Similar goes for ideologies. They are all distractions. Even worse, they are your keys to unlocking misery.
It is easy to fall into the trap of ideologies because it brings comfort. It brings the comfort of never using common sense and rather either blaming everything on nature or going absolutely against nature (take a few minutes off and brood over this)
I know what you are thinking, “I am not in the trap of ideologies.”
Let me ask you something: When was the last time you judged someone? Doesn’t matter on what basis it was. Be completely honest.
If you can recall it quickly, they trapped you. Because you can judge others only when you are trapped in an ideology. Without the presence of any ideologies, you will either try to understand them or focus on yourself.
But the ideology forces you to judge them. By doing so, you re-validate your ideas.
In the long term, this leads to misery and regret.
Now, I know what’s up your mind:
“Isn’t judgment necessary to deal with the world and find what’s right?”
True. When dealing with the world, you will have to be cautious and know what’s right. It’s important to identify toxic people and avoid them. Which can only be done through judgment.
There are various other examples that justify the need for judgment.
But none of it justifies constantly judging others.
If you find something to be wrong, simply get away from it. It is really that easy.
Judgment should not play any role other than identification. Else it will toxify you. You will start looking out for more toxic people and destroy yourself internally.
