#BTC Update Technically, Bitcoin is showing a strong bearish divergence on the daily chart. This doesn’t mean BTC will start falling directly from here.... More likely we could see some chop on the lower timeframes with a few upside wicks as well. But overall, I think it will be difficult to see the same kind of impulsive moves we’ve seen recently at least for now. The RSI needs to cool down and become neutral first. So, I’m not looking for any major longs until the RSI comes below 48 on daily time frame.

FOMC in 30 minutes🤝

The key time is 11:30 PM IST for FOMC, with another potentially important move around 12:00 AM IST while speech.

CLARITY Act is not passed for now. Now all eyes are on FOMC. The Fed is expected to hike rates by 25 bps today, and the market is already pricing in most of that expectation. So the real question is: What will the Fed say about the next few hikes? If the hike is already priced in and the Fed sounds less hawkish than expected, BTC could surprise to the upside. But if the Fed signals more hikes ahead, things could get ugly for risk assets.

LIVE: 🇺🇸 CRYPTO CLARITY ACT SENATE CLOTURE VOTE

If the CLARITY Act doesn’t pass today, the market will dump. Same with the FOMC. Everyone is expecting a rate hike tomorrow, so the general expectation of everyone is that $BTC will dump even more. But in my opinion, the market has already priced in these expectations. That’s why BTC is dumping BEFORE the actual news. By the time the news comes and gives the crowd a reason to sell, they might already be selling into the bids that are forming the bottom.
