zionists believe judaism is a nationality as well as a religion, and that jews deserve their own state in their ancestral homeland, israel. zionists are people who believe on that and supports what israel currently does to palestine to realize their beliefs. including being a part of pro-zionism groups, which means using boycott products is also counted. it is true we can’t just labelling someone as zionist JUST BECAUSE they are jewish (that would make you an anti-semitism. same bad thing. no racism movement is alright). or only by the bird chirps without evidences. it should be based on their acts. and if their act speaks loud already, come and get them cancelled. it is not that hard.

| 11 | hello, fellas. i assume i shall leave my mark here to blow the whistle regarding the boycott, divestment, and sanctions movement in books for i’m sensible there are lot of readers here. it is deeply regretted this topic has not been discussed that much considering a book is a gate to knowledge. so i came into a conclusion, this has to be shared. to all my fellow readers, i know it is hard not to grab some books we’re deeply curious about, moreover if it’s all over our social medias. sadly a lot of popular authors, american mostly, are on the pro-israel side. no arts, even more if it’s mediocre books take precedence over precious lives. and when millions of lives are at stake, there is no longer space to entertain the debate on whether the art should be separated from the artist. if you’re really interested on the books, you can either borrow it from someone who has bought it earlier before they heard about the news or as far as i’m concerned, there are a few of discord book clubs where you can read online books WITHOUT giving a royalty to the authors. for anyone who might say it is not that deep, i’m sorry to inform you that it is that deep. | 60 |
