A big purpose behind the wars was to demolish as much of the old world as possible. Dresden, Germany was a big prime example of this unnecessary destruction.

Here is one of my favorite pieces of fossilized tree I have. Probably a teeny tiny branch of a much much larger grand ancient tree. People who think this massive ancient trees couldn’t petrify and turn to stone has never seen or held a piece of petrified tree themselves. The landscapes of our world are filled with fragments of these fallen trees the stumps are just what we see clearly. The rest of the tree that didn’t decay like any fallen tree eventually does, are buried and partially obscured in our landscapes.
