I wanna sleep rn since I have to attend Dev Meetup v3 tomorrow, but… I just discovered this UI component library for react native! In fact, the creator of the library reached out on Twitter and asked if I had tried it before. Man, I’m so excited to check this out let’s see how it goes! ⚡️ @selfmadecoder

Better Auth init CLI on v1.2

I had an amazing session with @GDSCAAU! It was a really interesting discussion with some great questions—I enjoyed it a lot. (Maybe you didn’t, though—I felt like I was talking too much! So if I yapped a lot, sorry, guys. That’s on me. 😁🤦‍♂️) Being on this podcast also made me realize I’ve become a bit awkward when talking. I’ll try to work on that. Anyway, thanks again, @GDSCAAU, for inviting me! I hope you got something valuable out of it. As I mentioned, I’m nowhere near being a top-tier dev yet, but I’m working on it and will keep sharing my progress as always. In case you didn’t know and want to check out the devs I mentioned as inspirations, here’s a list of developers I follow on Telegram: link @selfmadecoder

I always get confused when peoples say I have to learn cursor.. bruh what's there to learn. its just vs code with LLM features .. wth @selfmadecoder

Honestly, I think everyone needs impostor syndrome .. it’s what pushes you to your limits. You know, that little voice in your head that keeps saying, “You’re not doing enough” or “There’s still more to do.” It keeps you humble, keeps your ego in check, and stops you from getting too exited over relatively small wins. Everything exists for a reason .. anxiety, fear, even impostor syndrome. They’re the reasons we’ve invented stuff, built civilizations, and kept evolving as humans. Just because something’s labeled as “negative” doesn’t mean it actually is always. But yeah, too much of anything .. anxiety, impostor syndrome, whatever is bad. So, just be aware of what you’re avoiding. As a person and a developer, I believe impostor syndrome every day is a good thing. Call it motivation, call it inspiration, I don’t care. Just make sure you’ve got someone or something that keeps you grounded and makes you feel like you know nothing. That’s how you know you’re not stuck but actually growing and getting better every day. you don't have to agree with me tho this is my personal believe and it doesn't me you should not be grateful and proud of the things you've done .. i just wanna say everything should counter balance. @selfmadecoder

What is this 👀 @selfmadecoder

I'm not a pro Nativewind anymore I've see so much to say I'd not recommend Nativewind unless you're building for one platform specifically @selfmadecoder

Last Sunday, I was bored and tired of struggling to install macOS on my Linux laptop. Then @bekacru_c dropped Better Call v1, so I thought, why not give it a shot? I randomly picked an idea and built a simple anonymous secret-sharing app. Nothing fancy, just a basic CRUD app, but I had a lot of fun playing around with Better Call! Tech stack: Better Call, Bun, TypeScript, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Next.js, ShadCN, postHog for anlytics and Google’s Gemini (for generating a catchy title for secrets). Check it out: secretwhisper.vercel.app It’s not super polished, actually built it live on stream here on my channel. GitHub : https://github.com/yeabnoah/whisper @selfmadecoder

I thought I'd add this just in case 😁. Don't bother Claude came up with the terms and rules, and it sounded cool to me. @sel

Thinking of using MacinCloud for work ... anyone tried it before? Kinda worried the internet might make it annoying, but we’ll see. Also, I gotta deploy this project. It’s pretty basic, but I wanted to try better call the project is a by product, so here we go. Don’t wanna add it to the list of my abandoned side projects, lol. Gonna deploy it now and drop the link later tonight. @selfmadecoder
