What most people don’t realize about AI tools/websites promising to build end-to-end apps is the hidden complexity of their infrastructure. Where’s your backend hosted? How is your database managed? Since these tools target complete beginners, they rarely provide transparency about deployment details—and that’s their business model.
They make deploying apps super easy, but if you’re not careful, you could burn through cash fast. These platforms often use serverless edge functions for their backend, and without proper testing, a bug or an endless-running function could cost you thousands of dollars in minutes.
I’m not against these tools, but I think it’s important to understand the risks and take precautions when using them.

this My friends, is MarcLuos’ new course, launched 5 days ago and it’s already made about $124K! Just look at the marketing—this guy is insane. He’s the perfect example of someone who really gets the principle of "selling shovels during a gold rush."

I get this question a lot: Have you ever wondered where I found my profile picture and wanted to get one like it for yourself? 🤔

Yo, can anyone recommend an offline to-do/time tracker app with notifications built in? Most apps I’ve tried make notifications and other cool stuff paid features 🤦♂.

Try Remix or Tanstack beside NextJs .. you'll be impressed .. might even change completely to one of those.

Your direction matters more than your speed. Once you focus on that, your acceleration becomes more important than your speed. This is a quote from my subconscious. I’m not sure where I heard it, but it came to mind, and I found a use case for it, so I wanted to share. 😊

I’m planning to set up a home server and was thinking of buying an old or non-working PC to repurpose. If anyone knows where I can find one, I’d really appreciate the suggestions 😊.

Using Better Auth with custom components feels like having someone hand you the remote while you're comfortably on the sofa—no need to get up 😁. The ease I'm feeling rn is insane Auth done in under 5 minutes 🤌⚡️.

Dumbness is a state, not an identity—some folks really need to understand that, even if it takes a needle to get it through 🤦♂. Let’s keep our egos in check, fam.

Repost from Mira
reflecting on Beka's speech at the DevFest, a while ago I wrote a toy programming language called "hahu" and uploaded it to github like a year ago. for me, it was ambitious project at the time. the speech aligns with most of us somehow

today's DevFest was awesome—totally recharged my energy 😁. Met so many cool folks, and it was just great 🔥. I genuinely love being around other devs, fr.
Attended sessions by Chapis, Beka, and Fraol, and man, they were absolutely amazing.
Kudos to @GDGAddis
