i swear i was just fixing a bug .. wasn't shipping a feature 😂 @selfmadecoder

Marty Supreme vs. Whiplash They’re super close, honestly a hard choice. Marty Supreme was fire, and Timothée Chalamet was insane in it. He really just becomes whoever he’s playing. But if I have to pick, *Whiplash* wins. Barely. The intensity just hits different. I did feel like a few scenes ( from Marty Supreme ) especially the dog and dog owner subplot, weren’t really necessary. It felt a bit disconnected from the main story. Still, both are insanely good. Whiplash just edges it with the story. @selfmadecoder

Galatians 2:20 : I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. #churchሂዱ @natyiu0

Oh God, this “we’re pre-revenue currently” language on Twitter is killing me 😁 I can’t stop seeing it, it’s everywhere. @selfmadecoder

I’m actually becoming more comfortable reading articles, thanks to all the great articles being posted on X. @selfmadecoder

This is the best performant and cheap model I’ve seen so far 👌 @selfmadecoder

Still thinking about valentine day 😁?? @selfmadecoder

My opinion on this article: It wasn’t that long ago when people in this very community were saying writing code by hand was better. Now everyone thinks Claude Code is insane and the models are unbelievably good. I don’t think this is about perfection or even about CEOs of giant companies making hyped claims about delivering something “distinctive” that ends up being less than promised. I remember Sam Altman saying around December 2024 that we’d achieve AGI within a year. Big claims aren’t new. But being overly optimistic or ignoring how fast these models are improving feels naive. They’ve already become very good, and they’re getting better at a rapid pace. There’s a real chance they could automate most jobs, reshape them, or even make some disappear. We don’t know the timeline, but the possibility is there. None of us truly knows what the future holds. But we’re closer to this space than most people. Pretending it’s not happening or downplaying it doesn’t make sense. I also read another article (by a Microsoft exec) breaking down why the real world implications are more complex than just releasing powerful models and tools. That perspective helps balance things out if this sounds too extreme. Still, I think the right approach is simple: hope for the best, prepare for the worst, and take advantage of the opportunity while we’re this close to the wave. @selfmadecoder

One thing I’ve realized lately is this: Feeling like you have big potential but doing nothing with it will actually make your life worse. At least some people are comfortable in their own skin. They’ve accepted the life they want to live and act accordingly, whatever that action may be. But if you believe you’re meant for big things and still act in the opposite way, that’s ego. And it slowly eats at you. Because every day passes and you’re still in the same place not moving while others who started with you are at least trying. And whether they’re making progress or not, their effort alone will make you question yourself. So in my opinion, the solution is simple: Either start doing something about your “big goals” — or be honest enough to admit you don’t actually want them. You don’t have to agree. @selfmadecoder

Buying original gadgets in Addis is so hard, man… The moment you start investigating whatever they’re selling, you can see the panic on their faces. Most of the stuff they sell you is fake. Some even get mad when you check and tell them it’s fake… so annoying, fr. @selfmadecoder

At least bro is touching grass 😂 @selfmadecoder
