yeah… a lot of stuff has kinda made me wish I was born in another country ngl. but when I think about it more, I don’t think I’d change anything about my roots. It just would’ve been cooler being born in the USA to Ethiopian parents 😁 .. at the end of the day, your family and your country are what you’ve got .. home is home, even if it’s not perfect or doesn’t give you everything you wish it did.

I have been part of dozens of businesses, becoming a CEO back in 2010 E.C with the most pretentious, egoistic, and cringe company name called Andegna Systems PLC. I consulted a couple of huge companies like Lewi Hotel and Resort before I graduated from uni, which I don't even list on my resume 🤷‍♂️ I founded 5 or 6 companies as a CEO or as a CTO, and was involved in over 10 companies. Every one of them failed for different reasons, except the last one. You can fail a million times; you just need to succeed once. Now everyone around me is set for life. Now I do it for the love of the sport.

If you’re planning on building crossplatform desktop apps with Typescript, Electrobun is probably the best option imo. It’s basically like Electron but without the V8 engine by default. You can still choose to ship it with V8 if you want (tho idk why anyone would do that 😭, but the option’s there). The speed, bundle size, everything about it feels great. I can honestly see a huge future for it. It also comes with a bunch of templates for your favorite frameworks like React, Vue.js, Svelte, or even plain vanilla JS + HTML. @selfmadecoder
