Here are 10 Easy Ways to Practice Speaking English 1. Sing English songs. 2. Speak to your mirror every morning about what you are going to do and how you feel. 3. Speak to your mirror in the evening about what you did and how you felt. 4. Speak to yourself all day every day about what you are doing, what you need to do, how you feel, etc. 5. Speak to your children/pets/plants. 6. Start a club with your friends where you only speak English. 7. Repeat after me when you watch my videos. 8. Repeat after the people on TV when you watch TV. 9. Make flashcards with full sentences and practice reading them out loud (speak the words) every day. 10. Read out loud (speak the words) when you are reading. Read the same thing again and again so that you are more confident each time you say it. Also, it doesn't matter whether or not your speaking partners are native English speakers. You practice speaking to improve YOUR ABILITY to produce language and become more confident. The important thing is that YOU SPEAK, not who the other person is. 👍 Like | comment 💬 | save | Share Turn on post notifications 🔔 Share & follow 🚥 https://t.me/MULTI_LEVEL_CEFR

In task 1 general writing, sometimes you will get a letter that you need to write to a friend. In these cases the language you use (not the macro structure) has to be different. Here are my 5 Tips for writing a Task 1 'informal' letter. 1. Use contractions such as 'can't / let's / won't' 2. Avoid words that you would not use in speaking. Ask yourself, "Would I use this word if I was talking to my friend?" 3. Use simpler grammar. Complex structures with fancy clauses are usually not the way people communicate with their friends. 4. Use common cohesive devices more such as 'and / but / so' rather than 'moreover / nevertheless / thus / therefore'. 5. Write more in active tense. Passives aren't always wrong, but they are usually a more formal way to say things. Only use passive if there is no other natural option. In summary, write an informal letter (to a friend) the way you would say it. If you do this, your TA score should be higher (as consistency and appropriateness in tone is related to TA). #IELTSTopTips #Writing9 #Task1 https://t.me/MULTI_LEVEL_CEFR ╭━─━─━─≪✠≫─━─━─━╮ https://t.me/MULTI_LEVEL_CEFR ╰━─━─━─≪✠≫─━─━─━╯
