Friday Sunnah Reminders 🤍📿 We all know how special Jumaah (Friday) is in our Deen but we need reminders from time to time to recall the magnanimity of this golden day. Friday is no average day for Muslims. It has the honor of being called ‘best day of the week’ by the best person to ever exist- Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. 1. Send extra selawat to Rasulullah Rasulullah ﷺ said : “The person closest to me on the Day of Resurrection is the one who sent the most Selawat upon me.” 🖤 [ Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 484 ] 2. Read Surah Al-Kahfi We can read: A. The first 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf B. The last 10 Ayahs of Surah Al-Kahf C. Both A and B D. Ideally, the complete Surah Al-Kahf. The Prophet said: “Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays.” [ Narrated by al-Haakim; Grade Sahih by al-Albaani ] 3. Mandi Jumaat [ Jumaah Shower ] Abu Sa’id Al-Khudr reports: I testify that Allah’s Messenger said, ‘The taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim who has attained the age of puberty and also cleaning of teeth with Siwak and using perfume, if available’. [ Sahih Bukhari ] 4. Use Fragance & New Piece of Clothings. “Put on your adornment on every occasion of prayer” [ Surat al-A’raf 7: 31 ] 5. Berdoa to Allah [ Send supplications to Allah ] 6. Trimming your nails Abu Hurayrah R.A. reported that ‘Five are the demonstrations of fitrah (nature/ instinct): 1. circumcision, 2. evacuating the hair underneath the navel, 3. trimming the mustache, 4. trimming the nails, and 5. culling the hair under the arms.’ 7. Make lots of Dua between Asr & Maghrib “There is a special hour on Friday, during which all prayers are accepted and answered by Allah, all Glory and Praise be to Him. This is part of the blessings that Allah has blessed this day with, over all the other days of the week. “On this day there is a time when no Muslim stands and prays, asking Allah for something, but Allah will grant him it” – and he gestured with his hands to indicate how short that time is. [ Bukhari and Muslim ] Ibn Al-Qayyim said that this golden hour is to be found in the time after the Asr prayer until the Maghrib Azan (end of day): “Friday has twelve hours (or part of it). There is one hour during which if a Muslim asks Allah anything, Allah will give it to him, so find it during the last hour after Asr.” [ Abu Dawud & An-Nasai ] Let’s do the virtues of Friday together! insha allah, if you can’t do everything, it’s okayy, don’t leave everything out okayy 🤍 may Allah ease your affairs. 🕊 MD. @selfreflectionforummah

🎀 Rasulullah ﷺ said, "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people by his strength, but the strong is the one who controls himself while in anger." (Sahih Bukhari)

When we put our trust in Allah: 🫧 our hearts will be at ease 🫧we stress less about what's gone and what's coming 🫧 our faith is strengthened 🫧 he takes care of our affairs and provide for us way out 🫧 our burdens are lightened

Someone is taking their last breath in a hospital bed today, and you’re frustrated sitting in traffic. Someone is spending their first night alone after years of love, and you’re annoyed that your partner left dishes in the sink. Someone is burying the baby they carried for nine months, and you’re upset that your child spilled milk on the couch. Someone is burying the mother who gave them life, and you’re irritated that yours called you twice this morning. Someone is wishing for just one more conversation with their dad, and you’re rolling your eyes at his advice. Perspective is everything. The Prophet Muhammad s.a.w said, “Look at those below you and not those above you, for that is more likely to prevent you from being ungrateful for the favors Allah has bestowed upon you” - Narrated Imam Muslim Appreciate the little things—because one day, they’ll be the big things. Be grateful. Be patient. Life is a test, and every moment is a chance to earn reward with Allah.

🎀 "If Allah knows [any] good in your hearts, He will give you [something] better than what was taken from you, and He will forgive you. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." [Surah Al-Anfal, Verse 70]

Allah hears your silent prayers, so be patient with His answers.

no matter how many times you’ve sinned, run back to Allah.

Allah ﷻ tests the people he loves. Rasulullah ﷺ said: “The people who were pardoned (not tested in this Dunya) will wish their skins had been cut up with scissors (when they see the rewards for those who were tested) while they were in the world.” Allah ﷻ tests different people with different trials, because everyone has a different level of patience, tolerance, and faith. If He knows you can’t handle it, He wont test you with it. Allah promised us that He does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear. Trust Allah.

⛈️ Kilat sambar, guruh berdentu. Semua jadi tanpa sesiapa pun suruh.

(HR. Abu Dawud & Tirmidzi) Mengapa Hanya 5 Minit Pun Kita Tidak Sempat?

What is worth risking for this world so temporary? This dunya is but a fleeting moment, a place of tests and illusions. Allah tells us in the Qur’an,
“Know that the life of this world is but amusement and diversion and adornment and boasting to one another and competition in increase of wealth and children — like the example of a rain whose [resulting] plant growth pleases the tillers; then it dries and you see it turned yellow; then it becomes [scattered] debris.” (Surah al-Hadid, 57:20).
We chase after temporary pleasures, risking our health, our relationships, and even our connection with our Creator, for things that will not follow us to the grave. The Prophet Muhammad sallallahu ‘alaihi wassalam advised us to be in this world like strangers or travellers, people who don’t attach themselves to the stopovers on their journey. So what is truly worth the risk? It is risking our comfort for the sake of prayer, risking our wealth for charity, and risking our ego to uphold truth and sincerity, all for the pleasure of Allah ‘azza wa jalla. These are not sacrifices, but investments in the eternal life to come. Everything else, no matter how glittering, will fade. The wise never gamble their akhirah for the illusions of the dunya.
