Becoming more religious during Ramadan isn’t hypocrisy — it’s part of the purpose of the month. Instead of looking down on anyone, remember that Ramadan might be their turning point, and they could end up closer to Allah than you.

The most beautiful feeling is when you cry your heart out, yet you know you don’t have to explain why because Allah already knows exactly what’s wrong. No human being will ever understand or care as much as Allah does. Alhamdulillah 💚 الحمد لله

Tonight marks Nuzul Al-Quran. 🤍 The first revelation to descend upon the Prophet s.a.w. is known as the night of Nuzul Al-Quran (The Descent of the Quran). This happened when the Prophet s.a.w. first met Jibril a.s. on Jabal Nur (Mount Light) in the cave of Hira where the angel asked him to read thus revealing the first five verses of Surah Al-’Alaq:  ٱقْرَأْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ. خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ. ٱقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ ٱلْأَكْرَمُ. ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَ بِٱلْقَلَمِ. عَلَّمَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ "Read, (O Prophet,) in the Name of your Lord Who created, He created humans a clinging clot. Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, Who taught by the pen taught humanity what they knew not." (Surah Al-’Alaq, 96:1-5)

The pure heart sees goodness in everything, while the corrupted heart only sees flaws. The world is a reflection of what lies within.

For my fellow akhwats that may not be able to fast due to haid, this is for you 🌸 If you are in haid and feeling sad because you can’t fast or pray during Ramadhan, remember this: Allah has given you this break out of His mercy, not as a punishment. Your worship is not less valuable just because you are not fasting. Islam is a religion of balance and wisdom, and Allah knows your situation better than anyone else. He is the One who commanded you to pause fasting and sholat during this time, so obeying Him by not fasting is, in itself, an act of worship. Your connection with Allah is not limited to fasting and sholat. You can still earn immense rewards through du‘a, dhikr, listening to Qur’an, seeking knowledge, giving charity, and serving others. Your sincerity and love for Allah matter more than any single act of worship. Also, think of this time as a reminder that Allah doesn’t need our worship —He is already Al-Majeed, The Most Glorious. Rather, it is we who need Him. This is an opportunity to reflect, reset, and build a deeper relationship with Allah beyond just rituals. And remember, Allah rewards based on intentions. If you long to fast and pray but cannot due to something beyond your control, Allah will still write the reward for you as if you had done it. So, don’t let sadness take over. Keep your heart close to Allah, and know that He is still blessing you in ways you may not even realise.

As we approach Nuzl Al-Qur’an (17th of Ramadhan), let us take a moment to reflect on the immense blessing that Allah has given us — the Qur’an, a guide that lights our path in this world and leads us to eternal success. The Qur’an is not just a book to be recited, but it is a message from our Creator, filled with wisdom, mercy, and answers to life’s challenges. It is the key to tranquillity, the healer of hearts, and the source of strength for every believer. Allah sent it down as a guidance for all of humanity, showing us the way to righteousness, justice, and peace. On this blessed occasion, let us renew our relationship with the Qur’an. Strive to recite it, understand it, and live by its teachings. Even if we feel distant, it is never too late to return. Take small steps — read a verse, ponder over its meaning, and implement it in daily life. The Qur’an was revealed gradually, and our journey with it can be gradual too, as long as we remain sincere. May we be among those who honour the Qur’an, not just on this special day but every day of our lives. May it be our companion in this world, our intercessor in the grave, and our light on the Day of Judgement.
Hold on to it, and you will never be lost.

Never forget how far you have come everything you have overcome. All the times you pushed forward, even when you felt like you couldn’t. All the mornings you got out of bed, no matter how hard it was. All the times you wanted to give up, but you made it through another day. Never forget how much strength you have gained and developed along the way.💪🏻

🌙 today marks the 14th day of us fasting, a test of hunger & thirst. for some of us, it might be easy, but for some of us, it might be challenging. different people has their different way of tackling the battle. but however it is, we are all still doing it for the sake of Allah s.w.t. to get His blessings & mercy upon us. 1.9 billion Muslims in the world, practicing the same faith and tradition every year, just shows how unity we are as a whole, despite the race, language or colour. we are all one ummah. together doing the same practice. hence, let’s savour these last few weeks of Ramadhan and enjoy the sweetness in it. allahumma baarik.
