before this i have only heard from people around me, relatives, that when you’re invited once to Tanah Haram, you will definitely want to go once more.
honestly, at first, i didn’t believe it, i thought that they were all saying it for the sake of saying it.
but wallahi, after i’ve finally stepped my sinful foot in Makkah, i finally understand it. the feeling of longing, still stays in me, i am tearing up as i am writing this down.
not knowing when will be the next time i will be able to visit this beautiful city the world has ever witnessed.
the atmosphere, the feeling, the beauty in Makkah & Madinah is unmatched, ya allah.
i would do anything just for me to be there again, i need it ya allah.
ya rabb, allow us to visit this most beautiful place you’ve ever created in the world.
if money is not the issue, i’m sure i would love to visit Mecca, at least twice a year.
والله أعلم

Friday Sunnah Reminders 🤍📿
Jumu‘ah is the most blessed day of the week, honoured by Allah and described by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as the best day.
Key Sunnahs of Friday:
1. Send abundant selawat upon Rasulullah ﷺ
Rasulullah ﷺ said:
“The person closest to me on the Day of Resurrection is the one who sent the most Selawat upon me.”
— Sunan Al-Tirmidhi 484
2. Read Surah Al-Kahfi (first 10, last 10, or ideally the whole surah)
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, he will be illuminated with light between the two Fridays.”
— Narrated by al-Haakim; graded Sahih by al-Albaani
3. Perform ghusl (Jumu‘ah bath) and maintain cleanliness
Abu Sa‘id Al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“The taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every Muslim who has attained puberty, and also cleaning of the teeth with siwak and using perfume if available.”
— Sahih Bukhari
4. Wear fragrance and presentable clothing
Allah says:
“Put on your adornment on every occasion of prayer.”
— Surah Al-A‘raf 7:31
5. Make du‘a to Allah abundantly
6. Trim nails and observe fitrah practices
Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه reported:
“Five are from the fitrah: circumcision, removing hair below the navel, trimming the moustache, trimming the nails, and removing underarm hair.”
7. Increase du‘a between Asr and Maghrib
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“On this day there is a time when no Muslim stands and prays, asking Allah for something, but Allah will grant it to him.”
— Bukhari & Muslim
Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said this special hour is:
“The last hour after Asr.”
— Abu Dawud & An-Nasa’i
Even if you can’t do everything, don’t leave everything. May Allah accept our deeds and ease our affairs. 🕊

Repost from Qidreads ❄️
Istiqamah is hard. Some days you feel close to Allah, your ibadah feels easy, and your heart feels at peace. But there will also be days when you feel tired, distracted, and far away. And that's okay.
What matters is that you don't stop trying. Don't think that you have to become a perfect Muslim overnight. Take it slowly. Start again when you slip. Pray even when you don't feel like it. Make dua even when your heart feels heavy. Keep coming back to Allah, no matter how many times you fall.
Sometimes, the smallest things we do consistently may mean more than we realise. So don't underestimate your little efforts. Allah sees you trying, even on the days when you feel like you're not doing enough.
May Allah keep our hearts firm upon His deen, help us stay consistent in our worship, and let us return to Him every time we lose our way. Amin 🤍
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are done consistently, even if they are few.”

this is why it is important to learn from a real teacher. not saying that everything that we watch from social media is wrong, but it can be to a certain extent.
not gaining knowledge from someone who is qualified to teach could also be a reason you might be misguided, nauzubillah.
and on top of that, for our beloved reverts brothers and sisters, they might see Islam as a religion of “opression/many obligations/many rules”, when they are not taught by the real asatizah.
whereas on the other hand, Islam is a religion is peace, tranquility & most importantly freedom, the real way of life.
in sya allah, let’s make an effort to find a certified and qualified asatizah in mosques across your country! be it in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and other countries. 🤍
Allah sees your efforts.

to think about it, i don’t even know if i would be able to live through the next 5 years, what profession i would be working as, what kind of person i would ended up to be, how is my relationship with Allah.
wallahu ‘alam. but i believe in Allah’s plan, and i really hope that i will continue to stay istiqomah in siratal mustaqim, and continue to guide and encourage my family and friends to get closer to Him.
but if my rizq to be alive in this dunya has ended, i hope that this little “da’wah” could be one of the reasons that would result me into being Ahli Jannah, but Allah knows best.
may Allah continue to guide us, and give us the strength to stay istiqomah. allahumma amin.

If you intentionally refuse to donate out of fear of poverty, then surely that is most pitiful
We shouldnt refuse to give simply because we feel like there will be less for us, because at the end of the day the one who provides is Allah
Your charity may not always be in monetary form, for even the smallest act of giving is seen by Allah
While no one can force you to give, is charity not most beloved to Allah ?
Giving to others, will only give you more in return, if not in this dunya, you will definitely see your efforts reflected in your akhirat, because they will never go to vain when done sincerely 🤍

Perhaps the peace you’re searching for was never meant to be found in this dunya, It was always meant to be found in a heart that remembers Allah.
The journey isn’t about finding a perfect life.
It’s about finding your way back to Him.

Sometimes Allah presents a challenge to push you to your limit
To teach you to have sabr, to allow you to understand that His Hands are in your affairs
We forget that a situation can turn around in a millisecond, as long as Allah has commanded and allowed it
Sometimes the solution finds its way to you immediately, other times it creeps up onto you slowly until the very last second
Have faith in Allah, because those who put their Trust in Him can never really lose

In a world where we constantly see snippets of everyone else’s lives, it’s easy to feel like we’re falling behind.
As women, we sometimes compare ourselves without even realising it. We compare our journeys, our friendships, our marriages, our careers, our appearance, and even our relationship with Allah.
But comparison is a burden the heart was never meant to carry.
Remember, what you see is not the full story. Every smile has its test. Every blessing has its responsibility. Every person is carrying something only Allah knows.
If Allah has blessed someone today, say, “Allahumma barik lahum.” Make du’a for them. A heart that celebrates the blessings of others is a heart that Allah expands.
And if you’re still waiting for your own du’a to be answered, don’t lose hope. Allah is never late. What He has written for you will reach you at the perfect time, in the most beautiful way.
May Allah remove envy from our hearts, replace it with gratitude and contentment, and make us among those whose hearts remain soft, sincere, and full of trust in His decree.
Jumu’ah Mubarak! May Allah accept our du’as, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us hearts that are at peace with His plans. 🤍

at times of despair, times of sorrow, times of anger, i would always try my best to turn back to Allah, my best source of comfort.
but we should also remember that we shall not only turn back to Him only on times of grief, but also your happy moments. be thenkful for his blessings that was brought upon us.
a tip! i would always try to listen to a quranic recitation everyday, slot in, atleast 1-2 minutes minimum, as that is the food for our imaan. 🤍
and these past few weeks, i needed it so much, i didn’t know i needed these recitations to calm my heart, allahu rabbi, i’m really thankful for all the blessings He provided us with, despite the sins that i’ve committed.

Repost from Safaral Ukhuwwah
I was staring into the dark when i suddenly remembered something my mum once told me.
"In the Akhirah, Allah will question every single thing we do."
That thought stayed with me.
Not just our prayers & fasting, but our work. How we earned our money & how we spent it. The way we treated our parents, our spouses, our children, our friends & even strangers. The words we spoke. The promises we made. The time we wasted. The blessings we were given but rarely thanked Allah for.
Sometimes we think, "It's only a small good just a small sin," or "No one saw it."
But Allah saw it.
Sometimes we think, "It's only a small good deed."
Allah saw that too.
Allah says:
"Whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it & whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it." (Surah Az-Zalzalah 99:7–8)
The Prophet ﷺ also said that a person will not move from their place on the Day of Judgment until they are asked about their life, their youth, their wealth, how they earned it & how they spent it, & what they did with their knowledge. (Jami' at-Tirmidhi)
One day, our jobs, our salaries, our titles, our followers & everything we spent so much time chasing will be left behind. The only thing that will accompany us into our graves is our deeds.
May Allah make us mindful before we speak, before we act, before we earn, before we spend & before we meet Him. May He forgive our shortcomings, accept our repentance & make our questioning easy.

Self reminder 💌 :
“ Mayat-mayat di dalam kubur sebenarnya amat cemburu dengan kita yang masih hidup. Sebab apa? Sebab kita masih berpeluang beramal soleh sedangkan mereka tak boleh. Orang yang tak nak beramal sebenarnya tak ada beza dengan mayat dalam kubur. Allahurobbi. ”

subhanallah, it is raining right now. 🕊️
du’a when raining:
اللّهُمَّ صَيِّـباً نافِـعاً
Allahumma shoyibban nafi’a
O Allah, make it a beneficial rain!
Sahih Bukhari 1032.

(like the spain v argentina match, i have high expectations for that (bad habit), but if things actually went wrong, i would definitely be devastated)😆

📉
over the years, through many phases of life, i came into realisation that, to be grateful in life, is very challenging, although we can verbally say it, but are we feeling it though.
i realised that in order for us to master the feeling of gratitude, we must first learn the art of lowering down your expectations.
when we lower down our expectations, you will rarely get disappointed or feel miserable, as you have nothing to be worried about.
the problem with some of us is that we have high expectations and standards, towards our friends, our family, our partner, and when things go south, we feel super miserable as it doesn’t go your way.
try, the art of letting go, توكل, leaving it to the hands of Allah, and appreciate every single moment you have, by lowering your expectations.
trust me you will feel super happy and grateful.

Sometimes we keep waiting until we're "better" before turning back to Allah…But that's not how it works
Come to Allah as you are.
Dengan segala flaws, penat, overthinking, and all the mistakes you've made.
Allah never asked us to be perfect. He only asked us to keep coming back to Him.
That's enough. 🤍
