🔥 San Marino will start issuing NFT vaccination passports
Non-fungible tokens (NFT), proof of vaccination, will be created on the VeChain blockchain.
The authorities of the Republic of San Marino have adopted a "decree-law" that will allow residents to issue digital passports for vaccination against coronavirus. Passports will be generated as NFTs on the public VeChain blockchain and linked to the owner's medical history. The technical partner of San Marino is the blockchain company DNV.
The digital vaccination passports will contain two QR codes for data verification.
The first QR-code complies with the requirements of the European Union and can be checked by organizations operating on its territory, the second one can be checked by anyone, anywhere. Scanning the QR code provides access to a web application where you can check the validity of the certificate by binding it to the NFT token.

🔥 In Germany, a law came into force, potentially opening up an opportunity for investing up to $415 billion in the cryptocurrency market
Germany's fund placement law, introduced in April and approved by parliament shortly thereafter, allows Spezialfonds or special funds to invest up to 20% of their portfolios in cryptocurrency.
If each Spezialfond decides to allocate the full 20% of the cryptocurrency, this would amount to 350 billion euros ($415 billion), based on the total assets under management of such funds in Germany.
The Spezialfond is the dominant institutional investment vehicle in Germany. Typically, such funds manage assets of at least ten million euros, and the number of investors is limited. The total number of funds for which investments in cryptocurrencies are now open is estimated at four thousand.
It is expected that the example of Germany, as one of the largest economies in the eurozone, may be followed by other states.
