#DidYouKnow Florida has approved a law that recognizes GOLD and SILVER as legal tender within the state 🇺🇸 1) It takes effect on July 1, 2026. 2) It allows the use of GOLD (99.5%) and SILVER (99.9%) coins with certified weight and purity to pay for goods or debts. 3) It does not require businesses to accept them — it’s optional. 4) It removes the sales tax on those coins. 5) The goal is to protect citizens from inflation and give them greater financial freedom. - In practice, this doesn’t mean a return to the gold standard or a replacement of the U.S. dollar, but it reinforces the legitimacy of gold as a store of value 🪙
