1️⃣ RESERVE LIST FOR IFoS ⭐️ Friends, in the final IFoS results the candidature of 71 candidates is provisional and result of 1 candidate has been withheld. Based on past trends, some candidates may not clear certificate verification (EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PwBD) or the upcoming medical examination and walk test. Also, some might opt for service allocated based on Civil Services Examination. In such a situation, there is a genuine possibility that vacancies may remain unfilled despite deserving candidates being available just below the final cutoff. Unlike CSE, IFoS does not currently have a reserve list/waiting list mechanism. Candidates who have missed the cutoff by a very small margin may therefore lose out even if vacancies eventually arise. I am exploring the possibility of writing to UPSC/CCA(cadre controlling authorities) or approaching CAT seeking a fair and transparent reserve list/waiting list mechanism for IFoS so that any vacancy arising after verification/medical stages can be filled strictly on merit from the remaining recommended candidates category-wise.
