The following is for the stepfather of my Godchildren and their father, Luke Uncaged, a man who means a great deal to me. 🤝 Charlie's 2nd London Marathon Hi, my name is Charlie, and in April 2026 I’ll be running my second London Marathon — this time for a cause that is incredibly close to my heart. I’m fundraising for Max Appeal, a small but powerful UK charity that supports families affected by 22q11.2 Deletion Syndrome (DiGeorge Syndrome). Recently, a very close friend’s young daughter, Olivia, was diagnosed with Complete DiGeorge Syndrome — an extremely rare and life-threatening form of the condition. She was born without a functioning immune system, meaning her body can not fight infections the way most of ours can. Max Appeal is the only UK charity dedicated specifically to supporting those affected by 22q11.2 syndrome. They provide vital information and emotional support, raise awareness, and fund much-needed research.
