In a single lifetime, America has delivered extraordinary progress in terms of rights protections alongside major advances in integration, innovation, and meritocracy. And what makes it uniquely powerful is its unmatched ability to attract talent from around the world, organize people effectively, and generate fairness and opportunity at scale.
