Mesa County Recorder Tina Peters just received a report detailing the results of a forensic examination of the county's voting system. The examination was conducted when Peters realized election data had been deleted after Dominion Voting Systems performed a software update on the county's election system. (She made a copy of the data prior to the update as a precaution.) The deletion of data violates federal law which requires election data to be retained for 22 months following an election.
