The media is attacking him. The democrats are attacking him. The courts are attacking him. The DOJ is attacking him. Some states are attacking him. Yet he continues to fight for us. Sure he has gaffs, sometimes is insensitive, and even occasionally says something irredeemable, but he continues to fight for us and our country. I watched some of Kamala's earlier interviews from her Senate and AG runs, and she doesnt do the incessant cackling. I wonder if polling told her to do the cackle.

She is also worried about being seen as experienced. "Inexperienced and weird" is a good way to label Kamala.

Kamala is so low-confidence that she had to poll whether or not the "weird" nickname was going to hurt her or not. I think we should start calling her weird since she is so worried about being labeled as weird.

According to another of Harris' polls, Trump is winning 54/41 of those who say they are voting in person. Kamala is winning 64/30 among those who say they are going to do mail in voting.

I am going through her campaign's receipts now. Seems like there are a LOT of donor refunds after July 21. These are ostensibly donations from individuals who donated to Joe Biden's campaign but did not want to have their donations earmarked for Kamala. Its late now, so I will continue with the dig tomorrow. For now, lets have a break for our sponsor.

The FEC does need to address this issue, and address it sooner than later. By not fixing this campaign committee issue, the FEC is essentially legalizing the willy-nilly transfer of campaign committees. When Chuck Schumer retires from the Senate, he could just transfer his entire war chest to his daughter Jessica, citing Kamala Harris and Joe Biden as precedent. When Donald Trump finishes his 2024-2028 presidency, he could then transfer his campaign to his son Eric or Don Jr. It is simply unfair for the FEC to allow this to stand, as it will create monstrous political legacies beyond what we already see. If George Bush simply handed his campaign committee to Jeb in 2016, we might have had a JEB! presidency instead of Trump. Whats to stop a billionaire like Mark Cuban from making "Mark for President", depositing 5 billion dollars into the campaign treasury, then transferring the campaign to AOC?

Since Kamala essentially stole Joe Biden's campaign committee, the FEC has a slam dunk case to shut it down. The issue here is that the FEC wont likely do much unless people are reporting this issue to them. Their complaint rules manual has 24 pages and is difficult enough to understand that most people will be turned away or not follow the directions closely enough to get the FEC moving. I know how to file the complaints though, and will have mine drafted tonight and filed tomorrow according to the rules. If you are able to, you should also draft one. The more people writing complaints about it, the more likely the FEC will do something.

Since Twitter started rewarding people to simply parrot what others are saying over there, we are seeing less and less of the deep dives and research oriented threads that we need. With so many trying to keep up with the Jones' with their Twitter engagement, there seems to have been a bit of a brain drain. I have not been unaffected myself. If the FEC decides she doesn't have authority, then all the money she has raised will be locked up and her campaign will have difficulty raising more money from there.

Im not sure if you guys remember or not, but I ran a campaign some years ago and spent a lot of time on the phone with representatives of the FEC asking about different regulations. They are very nice folk and extremely helpful, but come down quick on you if they find any inkling of malfeasance.

"HARRIS FOR PRESIDENT" does not have the name "Joe Biden" in it in any way.
