Dear All, We hope you are all doing well. We are happy to announce that, for the second time, our parish will host the Eastern Rite Ethiopian Catholic Conference. We will be welcoming guests from across the United States and Canada. To prepare for this important event, we ask for your support in the following two ways: 1. Financial Contribution Our parish has been assigned to contribute $5,000 toward the conference. We kindly ask each household or individual to contribute $50 or more, beginning this Sunday. You may give your donation to the Ushers or the Finance Committee. If you are paying by check, please make it payable to: Kidane Mehret Catholic Church Please write “Eastern Rite Ethiopian Conference” in the memo line. This collection will be taken as the second collection beginning this Sunday. Thank you for your generosity. May God bless you. 2. Volunteer Support We also ask every member of our community to volunteer during the conference, which will be held July 24–26. We are saddened to inform you that the mother of Senait Kerema passed away and was laid to rest in Ethiopia. Senait has requested Fetat Mass in her mother’s memory Nefse Atsede Woldeselassie this Sunday on June 28, 2026 at our church. Following the Mass, those who are able are invited to gather at the community center indicating in the flyer to offer condolences, comfort, and support to Senait and her family during this difficult time. May God grant eternal rest to the departed and strength and peace to the family.
