Bundey (South Australia): Nasdaq-listed firm Iren is building a massive 800-megawatt AI data centre in the virtually uninhabited remote locality of Bundey, located northeast of Adelaide. [1]
Western Downs (Queensland): Developer Zerra DC is building a massive data centre near Dalby (250km west of Brisbane), where AI giant Anthropic has agreed to lease space to run its Claude AI program. [1, 2]
