◼️India hosts 4 biodiversity hotspots
⚜1-the Himalayas,
⚜2-the Western Ghats,
⚜3-the Indo-Burma region and the
⚜4-Sundaland (Includes Nicobar group of Islands). These hotspots have numerous endemic species.
▫️Biodiversity is the collection of flora and fauna of a place. Biodiversity Hotspot is a region which is a prime location for the existence of rich biodiversity but also faces the threat of destruction. It is a place which needs our immediate and constant attention to survive and thrive in the future as well.
This idea of identifying hotspots was put forth by Norman Myers in 1988.

📌Haldia & the kolkata port are located on either side of Hooghly river. They're not considered as 2 separate ports but a single port with 2 twin dock systems.
Kamrajar is the new name of Ennore port. The only major port in India that is being handled by a company.
(Mention in comments the name of the company) 😁
From Tuticorin, we ship to Colombo port, which is a deep sea port & from there goods are sent to the U.S bcz very large vessels like EVER GIVEN can't enter Tuticorin port.

Russia has deployed an underwater telescope called the Baikal-GVD (Gigaton Volume Detector) in the Lake Baikal, the world’s deepest lake
GVD is one of the three largest neutrino detectors in the world, other 2 being IceCube at the South Pole and ANTARES in the Mediterranean Sea.
GVD is designed to detect neutrinos that may have come from the Earth’s core, or could have been produced during nuclear reactions in the Sun, or formed as a result of supernova explosions.
It will aid in understanding of the origin of the universe since some neutrinos were formed during the Big Bang
Neutrinos:👇
They are not easy to catch, this is because they do not carry a charge, as a result of which they do not interact with matter.
Natural sources of neutrinos include the primordial elements within the earth, radioactivity in the sun
One way of detecting neutrinos is in water or ice, where neutrinos leave a flash of light or a line of bubbles when they interact.

Potential of BBIN
⚜Once implemented thoroughly, they have the potential to increase India’s-regional trade within South Asia by almost 60% and with the rest of the world by over 30%.
⚜ This would be a visible advantage for South Asia with transport corridors transformed into economic corridors.
⚜The BBIN Agreement signals that relations which were earlier characterized by trust-
deficit among countries are now decisively moving towards a national political consensus
for cooperation among the neighbours.
