સપ્ટેમ્બર ૨૩ના પ્રાતઃકાળીન વિધિ બાદ, પધરામણીઓ કરવા પધાર્યા. દિલીપભાઈને ત્યાં ઘરમાં યોજાયેલી સભામાં આશીર્વાદ આપતાં સ્વામિશ્રીએ કહ્યું, “આજે બધાને સત્સંગનો લાભ મળ્યો. મોટો લાભ તો સત્સંગ છે. આ લાભ સાચો છે. જેટલો સમય ઉત્તમ થયો. સત્સંગનું કાર્ય થાય તે જીવનનું સાર્થક થયું છે.” સાંજે યુનિયન હાઈસ્કૂલના હોલમાં જર્સીસિટીમાં યોજાયેલી સભામાં પણ સૌને પ્રેરણાદાયી આશીર્વચન મળ્યાં. સભા પૂર્ણ થયા બાદ સ્વામિશ્રી હરિભક્તોને મળ્યા અને રાત્રે ભોજન કરીને નિવાસસ્થાને પધાર્યા. બીજા દિવસે સાંજે જર્સીસિટીના જેમ્સ જે. ફેરિસ હાઈસ્કૂલના હોલમાં યોજાયેલી સભામાં પણ પધાર્યા.

On September 23, after completing his morning routine, Swamishri left for padhramanis. During a small sabha organized at a devotee’s home, Swamishri said, “Everyone has taken the laabh of satsang today. All other laabh are perishable, but this laabh is true. This time spent [in satsang] is truly the best. We are uplifted by doing the work of satsang.” In the evening, there was a sabha at Union High School. After sabha, Swamishri personally met with all the devotees and returned to his accommodations at 10 pm for dinner. Another day stands testament to Swamishri’s never-ending hardships! The next day, Swamishri attended an evening sabha at James J. Ferris High School in Jersey City, NJ.

એડિસન ૨૧મી સપ્ટેમ્બર ૧૯૮૮ના રોજ સ્વામિશ્રીના આગમનથી ધન્ય બન્યું. તેઓ ઇન્માન એવન્યુના આ મકાનમાં ૧૨ દિવસ રોકાયા અને ભવિષ્યના મંદિરસર્જન માટે બીજ વાવ્યા. સાંજની સભામાં સ્વામિશ્રીએ સંતો સાથે કીર્તનો ગવડાવ્યા અને પછી વચનામૃત ગઢડા મધ્ય ૪૧ પર લગભગ દોઢ કલાક સુધી પ્રવચન આપ્યું, જેનાથી તમામ હરિભક્તોને આનંદ થયો.

Edison was fortunate to be graced by Swamishri on September 21, 1988. He stayed at this house on Inman Avenue for 12 days. He gave immense bliss to all while planting the seeds for the future mandir. In an evening sabha, Swamishri had the santo sing kirtans and then he delivered a discourse on Vachanamrut Gadhada II-41 for 1.5 hours to the pleasure of all the devotees.

૧૯૭૭માં ગુરુહરી પ્રમુખસ્વામી મહારાજ સાથે પ્રથમ વખત અમેરિકા પધારેલા. ત્યારબાદ ૧૯૮૬માં ફરી પધાર્યા, સંતમંડળને લઈને સત્સંગના પ્રસાર માટે આવ્યા હતા. તે વખતે તેમણે બાળકો સાથે પ્રેમપૂર્વક સમય વિતાવ્યો અને ભગવાન તથા ગુરુહરીના મહિમાની સમજણ આપી. પૂ. મહંતસ્વામીના વિચરણ કાર્યક્રમ પધરામણીઓ અને સભાઓથી ભરપૂર રહેતો. ભક્તોના ઘરે પૂજા-પાઠ, પ્રસાદ બાદ તેઓ પધરામણીઓ શરૂ કરતા. ભક્તોના ઘરમંદિરોમાં પૂજન-આરતીનો પણ લાભ આપતા.

Mahant Swami first came to America with Pramukh Swami Maharaj in 1977. Nine years later, he arrived with a separate group to spread satsang. He lovingly spent time with children, ensuring to teach them the importance of Bhagwan and the Satpurush. Mahant Swami’s vicharan was packed with padhramnis and sabhas. After puja and breakfast at a devotee’s home, he would commence his daily padhramanis. He would do pujan and arti in each of their ghar mandirs.

મે ૧૧ના એકાદશીના શુભદિને સ્વામિશ્રીએ ન્યૂયોર્કથી હોબોકેન કાંતિભાઈ પટેલના ઘરે પધાર્યા. પુ.મો. સ્વામિશ્રીએ કથા કરી અને તે દરમ્યાન સ્વામિશ્રીએ સર્વ ભક્તોને વ્યક્તિગત મળીને પ્રસાદે બપોરે બે વાગ્યે ફળહાર કર્યો. મે ૧૧ના ફેરિસ હાઈસ્કૂલમાં સાંજની સભા આપવા સ્વામિશ્રી પધાર્યા. ત્યારે દેવને આપેલા સ્વામિશ્રીએ કહ્યું, “આપણે ભારત જેવી સંસ્કારવાળી ભૂમિના સંતાનો છીએ. આપણે ગમે તેટલું કમાઈએ, છતાં આપણાં સંસ્કારો ન ભૂલવા જોઈએ. મૂલ્યો મનમાં કોતરી દેવા જોઈએ.” ત્યાર બાદ સ્વામિશ્રી ત્યાં કીર્તન કર્યું. ત્યાર બાદ સ્વામિશ્રી ન્યૂયોર્ક પધાર્યા.

On May 11, on the auspicious day of Ekadashi, Swamishri left New York and went to Kantibhai Patel’s home in Hoboken. A sabha was organized and Swamishri met each devotee individually. Swamishri finally sat to have some fruits at 2 pm. On May 11, Swamishri arrived at Ferris High School for evening sabha. Swamishri blessed the audience with his words, “We are the children of India - a country that is rich in values. Wherever we may go, whatever money we may earn, we should never forget our values. This should be etched in our minds.” Thereafter, Swamishri reached New York at 12:30 am.
