🛡️Retired Judge ♟️At any time, the chief justice of India can request a retired judge of the Supreme Court or a retired judge of a high court (who is duly qualified for appointment as a judge of the Supreme Court) to act as a judge of the Supreme Court for a temporary period. ♟️He can do so only with the previous consent of the president and also of the person to be so appointed. ♟️Such a judge is entitled to such allowances as the president may determine. ♟️He will also enjoy all the jurisdiction, powers and privileges of a judge of Supreme Court. But, he will not otherwise be deemed to be a judge of the Supreme Court.

🛡️Kali River ♟️Also know as Sharda river. ♟️Originates at Kalapani in the Himalayas in the Pithoragarh district in Uttarakhand. ♟️It forms boundary between Nepal and Kumaun. ♟️It discharges in Ghagra river in UP. 💎River Projects ♟️Tanakpur hydro-electric project. ♟️Chameliya hydro-electric project. ♟️Sharda Barrage Project. 💎Kalapani Dispute ♟️The Treaty of Sugauli signed by the Kingdom of Nepal and British India (after Anglo-Nepalese War) in 1816 located the Kali River as Nepal's western boundary with India. ♟️The discrepancy in locating the source of the river led to boundary disputes between India and Nepal, with each country producing maps supporting their own claims.

🛡️Lodhi Dynasty (1451-1526 AD) ♟️The Lodi dynasty was an Afghan dynasty ♟️It was the fifth and final dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate, and was founded by Bahlul Khan Lodi. Sikandar Lodi succeeded him. 💎Sikandar Lodi (1489-1517) ♟️He was contemporary of Mahmud Begarha of Gujrat and Rana Sanga of Mewar. ♟️He founded city Agra and transferred capital from Delhi to Agra. ♟️He abolished the octroi duty on grains and established a new measurement of the yard called the Gaz-i-Sikandari. ♟️Sikandar was orthodox and a bigot king. he reimposed the Jizya on Hindus. ♟️He was a poet of repute, composed under the pen-name of Gulruk. ♟️Sikandar Lodi was succeeded by his son Ibrahim Lodi. 💎Ibrahim Lodi (1517-1526) ♟️He was the last Lodi Sultan of Delhi. ♟️Ibrahim was defeated in 1526 at the Battle of Panipat. ♟️He was arrogant. Humiliated his nobles in open courts, this made Daulat Khan Lodi (the governor of the Punjab) invite Babar to invade India/Delhi. ♟️This marked the end of the Lodi Dynasty and the rise of the Mughal Empire in India India Under Delhi Sultanate.
