📌Main Points 👇

🔹1st:- Also known as Indian Biological Data Bank. 🔹2nd:- Set up at the Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB),Faridabad. 🔹3rd:- It is being established at the RCB in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre (NIC), Bhubaneshwar. 🔹4th:- IBDC is the first national repository for life science data in India. 🔹5th:- Mandate— deposition, storage, annotation and sharing of biological data. IBDC is mandated to archive  all publicly funded life science data generated at national level. 🔹6th:- Data center is supported by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT). 🔹7th:- Digitised data will be stored on a four-petabyte supercomputer called ‘Brahm- High Performance Computing (HPC) facility.
