My interview experience at JKPSC
The interview process is quite smooth. I’ll break it up into two parts. First, when-where-how and second, the actual interview.
There are J&K Public Service Commission staff to guide you. I will give a step by step description as far as I remember:
Reached Solina, Srinagar JKPSC office at 12.30 PM for afternoon shift.
Went inside the JKPSC office immediately.. submitted documents and got my documents verified
Interview seemed more like a cordial discussion, in Urdu/Hindi mostly.
Me: May I come in Sir?
Chairman: Yes.
Me: Good afternoon Sir.
Member: Please be seated
Chairman sir: Q - brief description about yourself
Q - Why civil service? Graduation ke baad se prepare hi kar rahe hain?
Kahi par aur job kyu nahi ki? Preparing since right after graduation, didnt work? There are sufficient jobs )
Q - Himalayas ke pahar kahan se kahan tak hain? (What is the extent of Himalayas?)
I replied Sir ye J&K, HP, UK, Sikkim ,Assam,manipur AP aur mizoram ke kuch hisse me paaye jate hain.
Q - Kya Ladakh aur west bengal mai nahi paye jate?😭 Mind se skip hou gya
Q - J&K se AP tak kya alag alag naam hain?
Q - kumaon Himalayas kin dou rivers k beech hain
Q - Ye bataiye ki J&k Reg. act 2019 me kitne section hain?
Q - CM & COM appointment
Q - achha ye bataiye advocate general ke function kya hote hain?
Q - What is IMR and CMR and how are they different?
Q - Accha ek aur ratio hota hai jo birth ke 28 days ke andar agar bache ki death ho, usko kya kehte hain?
Me: Sir i cannot say for sure but maybe still birth?
