I do not care that I’m posting in a language not all iranians can read, I am not writing for every iranian ever lived and I don’t expect anyone, even those who know english, to care about what I write or think. I have finally understood very late in life that I basically do not matter in matters political and international, the best I can do is talk amongst friends, help my immediate surroundings and survive day by day. I post because of a personal selfish urge to remind myself I exist, I don’t expect anything out of it so you probably shouldn’t either.

its also comical that you would even be shocked or angry that people are scared for their lives. apparently real patriotism is when you die under rubbles for no evident reason and cant even fight for your cause anymore. I understand that in this fucked up political game from the left to right human worth is measured by how badly they died but don’t you think it’s atleast gauche to be so visibly angry at people not being suicidal

asking “what do you want then” to people who have never felt freedom or the right to choose or a stable economy where they could atleast fantasize about things they want to reach (aside from actually gaining it or not) is a comical way to own them. yes people hate the govt and they’re scared of dying in the streets and they’re scared of imprisonment and they’re scared of bombs and scared of dying under rubbles and really just scared. terrified. the people who are unsatisfied with everything have understood the very basic truth that all components of their lives, now or later or before, was decided w/o them. people are scared because they have no agency and even if they miraculously get some agency they’ll get rid of it fast because they’re probably scared of how they’ll lose it soon

one day I’ll learn to be as cruel and apathetic as you people and I’ll finally live a normal life
