Voice Input
The capabilities of AIO's AI assistant have expanded significantly recently. But typing long commands or questions on a keyboard is not nearly as convenient as simply searching for apps and contacts.
That's why the latest beta introduces full voice input. You can launch it directly from the search window by tapping the microphone button (first screenshot), or enable a setting that replaces the search button on the home screen with a dedicated voice input button.
AIO Launcher 7.2.1
- Added a Header widget, allowing you to place section titles anywhere on the screen
- Added support for automatic periodic cloud backups
- App and contact search now supports typo-tolerant matching (fuzzy search)
- Improved the built-in AI assistant: it can now open the Script Generator and Theme Generator from natural-language requests and better handles commands for adding tasks, notes, calendar events, and purchases
- Continued improvements to the Script Generator
- Added Hungarian, Romanian, Thai, and Vietnamese translations

Custom Headers
Many of you have asked for the ability to show or hide headers for individual widgets. I heard you, but I ended up solving it a bit differently: the latest beta introduces a dedicated Header widget that you can place anywhere on the screen and customize in detail.
These headers can be used as section titles, as headers for individual widgets, or simply to display text on your home screen.
Please note that this widget is not available from the sidebar menu. It must be enabled through the settings first.
AIO Launcher 7.2.0
- The script generator is now MUCH smarter, easier to use, and comes with significantly more generous limits
- Added support for Google Drive, OneDrive, and WebDAV cloud sync
- App Usage widget: added an option to customize the report start time
- Tasks widget: added an option to disable automatic deletion after marking a task as completed
- Added many new scripting APIs (see documentation for details)
- Bug fixes and performance improvements

Widget Generator 2.0
In version 7.2.0-beta1, the script/widget generator was completely rewritten and now works MUCH better. Usage limits have also been significantly increased, and widget preview support has been added.
If you're interested in the script generator, please give it a try. If it generates an incorrect script, you can really help improve the generator by sending me (@ezobnin) or posting in the comments the text of your request and the generated script itself (if possible).
Cloud sync support for Google Drive, OneDrive, and WebDAV

Looks like AI on the home screen is becoming the new standard — even classic launchers like Nova Launcher are moving in that direction.

In AIO Launcher, I’ve been working on this for a while: Today, AI answers, working with notifications — it all comes from the same idea.
From the leaks, it seems they’re going for a more proactive assistant. That’s not really my approach — I still think a launcher should help when needed, not compete for attention.
Sometimes the difference isn’t in the features themselves, but in how they feel in everyday use.
Either way, it’ll be interesting to see where this goes.
AIO Launcher 7.0.5
- Weekly Calendar widget now sorts tasks and events together by time
- Map widget now lets you place a marker on the map
- Today widget now highlights especially important events, such as extreme weather and government alerts
- Clock & Weather widget: option to show battery level
- Habits widget: added total streak days count

- Frequent Apps and Categories now use a separate hidden apps list from the side menu

- Theme settings now allow separate search bar color customization
- Theme settings now support gradients for the search bar color
- Added an option to disable the search button background in the search screen
- Theme preview items in settings can now be tapped to open the corresponding option
- AI dialog in search now has a button to ask the same question via ChatGPT, Claude, and other apps

Why AI features in AIO will always require a subscription
A common question: why not make AI a one-time purchase?
Because AI isn’t a one-time feature. Every request you make has a real cost — servers, models, and processing run continuously.
Regular features work on your device. AI doesn’t — it depends on external infrastructure that has to stay online and scale with usage.
A subscription simply matches how it works: ongoing service → ongoing cost.
That’s why AI features in AIO will always be subscription-only.
Todoist support
In version 7.0.3, the Tasks widget now has initial support for Todoist sync. It’s not fully complete, as some Todoist features are (intentionally) not included in Tasks — for example, complex recurrence rules or tasks with a date but no time.
I’d appreciate it if those of you using Todoist could test the sync. Your feedback is very important, since I don’t use it myself and might be missing some edge cases.
AIO Launcher 7.0.2
- New live theme preview in settings
- Theme settings now allow editing gradients
- Notes colors can now be customized
- App List widget: added an option to fill items by rows
- World Clock widget now supports smarter time zone search
- Custom app colors are now synced with the cloud
- Player widget: added an option to disable button coloring
- Bug fixes
