Dear Cardstack community, Our team is busy at work completing a few major projects that combine many aspects of our technology into a cohesive product designed to solve user experience issues in Web3 applications. Over the past few weeks, we have worked to solidify our product focus on certain aspects of the Cardstack ecosystem. We are putting the final touches on a layer 2 staking mechanism using Card Wallet—expect more information in early June! The cross functional team of our full-stack web developers, mobile developers, and Solidity developers are nearing the end of their work to support the new Card Drop via email. The foundation laid by this work enables broader distribution of prepaid cards and allows for more generic Gnosis Safes to be created on demand. This work will serve as a core framework for the upcoming Card Wallet work focused on driving more use of Persona Safes (which are fully functional smart contract wallets). This will expand the addressable market of Card Wallet over the coming months. The end-to-end testing of the Card Airdrop reward system was successful in optimizing processes and functions to support additional rewards. In the next month, we will launch a new reward for new users who create profiles. This automated reward mechanism is actually a recurring reward framework that can be programmed to reward almost any user action with an on-chain Merkle proof. The Card Compiler team continues with work related to the runtime spike of the no-code/low-code dApp builder. This work continues full-force, and we’re making great progress. The new Javascript-oriented API for describing a Card and its constituent parts is functioning end-to-end. We are working with our design team to connect previous work done in our no-code builder to the new runtime components that are currently under development by our core engineers.
