How to break a working system? 🔪
📈 Most traders take a working system and gradually destroy it trying to make it "perfect."
They can't accept that their strategy allows drawdowns, requires patience, and doesn't give complete control. Predictability matters more to them than results 😑
When the action plan stops matching their fantasy of "how it should be," they start tweaking.
✨ They add indicators, create new rules, search for "even more precise" tools and turn a simple, working system into an overloaded construction where logic is lost.
Often they resort to extremely rare, unknown tools 🤫 — not because they work, but because nobody talks about them.It seems like if a method is unknown, it must be special, unconventional, and therefore 100% profitable. ✍️ But this isn't a professional approach — it's a basic desire to prove you're smarter than everyone else. This complication doesn't bring you closer to profit; it's an attempt to cope with anxiety.
