Bitcoin could fall to $40,000–46,000 by the end of 2026, according to analysts at Galaxy Research. But let me remind you why the analysis from these people and many similar "experts" is often nothing more than a random collection of numbers and assumptions. Below, I'll attach their own forecasts from 2024–2025 (based on their supposedly rigorous and data-driven research). Hopefully, this makes it clear why the more followers an account has—and especially if it adds the word "Research" to its name—the less relevant and well-argued many of its predictions tend to be. 11	🪙 Bitcoin — my overall thoughts: ⬇️The most important thing is not trying to guess the bottom. Build your own personal plan for any crypto asset you're interested in based on your job, family budget, financial goals, and overall situation. You adapt to the market — you don't expect the market to adapt to your expectations. ⬇️Things used to be much simpler. Bitcoin was correlated with the S&P 500, gold, and the M2 money supply. After stocks and precious metals reached major highs, capital would often start flowing into Bitcoin and the broader crypto market. Today, Bitcoin seems to have lost any meaningful correlation with anything. Could money actually rotate from stocks and the AI sector into crypto? Sure. Could it also not happen at all? Absolutely. Smart investors may simply decide not to risk their profits by playing with virtual speculative assets. Many of them already have enough stress dealing with Trump and broader market uncertainty.🙂 ⬇️Right now, people are analyzing tons of metrics. They look at what percentage of holders were underwater before versus now, count the days since the halving, and track countless other indicators in an attempt to identify the bottom. In my opinion, none of that really matters. Why? Think back to how many indicators in 2025 were screaming that Bitcoin was overheated and that the market was in a state of euphoria. Out of the 40+ indicators commonly used by analysts, maybe only 1–3 actually signaled the market top. Meanwhile, almost everyone kept saying that Bitcoin hadn't reached its peak yet and that prices would continue moving higher without significant pullbacks. Why? Because that's what happened in previous cycles. Then, when the market turned, many people had to delete their old posts and quickly switch to a bearish narrative, pretending everything was going according to plan and that they had predicted the end of the rally all along. Now we're seeing the exact same thing — just in reverse. Could Bitcoin fall to $50,000 or even $30,000? Absolutely. Could Bitcoin rise to $150,000 this year or next year? Absolutely. Bitcoin is ultimately a speculative asset — nothing more. Don't try to predict the exact bottom.
