I finally had the time to take a look at this "መጽሔፍ" and I'm loving it, though it's not Thursday I suggest y'all to give it your time and read it😊

The very first poem I wrote was entitled "ሰው" I don't think I had a specific reason for it, because I was 11 lol. It had a single stanza and four lines. Now having uncountable pieces, untitled scribbles, scattered notebooks and so many poems in heart made me realize how simple dreams become true yet they get lived as if they were never a dream. Don't take your dreams for granted when they're spoken into existence. ሠናይ ቅዳሜ🤍

Yeah i know we're weak but I also think we underestimate the strength God gave us. "Hey debbs how are you? How you holding up?" were the questions I loathed for the past couple of years while I should have been thrilled that people actually "do care" about my wellbeing but no! those questions made my insides turn into turmoil. Whenever I was asked if I was okay I had to actually think about if I really was okay and boy life wasn't it! I went through so many emotions all at once and had so many obstacles to handle, the list is too much. I did not for a second think that I could pass those days and be here. Not wanting to give myself the little bit of hope that someday things may get better cause people bled my ears with that line "Hey it gets better hang in there." I mean thank you for trying to comfort me but it doesn't get better trust me when I say it gets worse. You just manage to be strong through whatever will be thrown at you and that's the prominent part of it all. I underestimated the strength God gave me to face whatever I had to face, when I sit here and think of it maybe I could have handled things better If I believed in me. But the past is in the past so hey believe that you'll get through this and believe in you. Have a good day🤍💜

👸🏽WOMAN. . . When God created woman he was working late on the 6th day... An Angel came by and asked." Why spend so much time on her?" The lord answered. "Have you seen all the specifications I have to meet to shape her?" "She must function on all kinds of situations, She must be able to embrace several kids at the same time, Have a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to a broken heart, She must do all this with only two hands, She cures herself when sick and can work 18 hours a day" THE Angle was impressed" Just two hands.....impossible! And this is the standard model?" The Angel came closer and touched the woman, "But you have made her so soft, Lord". "She is soft", said the Lord, "But I have made her strong. You can't imagine what she can endure and overcome" "Can she think?" The Angel asked... The Lord answered. "Not only can she think, she can reason and negotiate" The Angel touched her cheeks.... "Lord, it seems this creation is leaking! You have put too many burdens on her" "She is not leaking...it is a tear" The Lord corrected the Angel… "What's it for?" Asked the Angel... The Lord said. "Tears are her way of expressing her grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride." This made a big impression on the Angel, "Lord, you are a genius. You thought of everything. A woman is indeed marvelous" Lord said. "Indeed she is. She has strength that amazes a man. She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens. She holds happiness, love and opinions. She smiles when she feels like screaming. She sings when she feels like crying, cries when happy and laughs when afraid. She fights for what she believes in. Her love is unconditional. Her heart is broken when a next-of-kin or a friend dies but she finds strength to get on with life" The Angel asked: So she is a perfect being? The Lord replied: "No. She has just one drawback. She often forgets what she is worth". W O M A N: 🙋🏽‍♀️ Changes Her Name. 🙋🏽‍♀️ Changes Her Home. 🙋🏽‍♀️ Leaves Her Family. 🙋🏽‍♀️ Moves In with You. 🙋🏽‍♀️ Builds A Home with You. 🙋🏽‍♀️ Gets Pregnant For You. 🙋🏽‍♀️ Pregnancy Changes Her Body. 🙋🏽‍♀️ She Gets Fat. 🙋🏽‍♀️ Almost Gives Up in The Labor Room Due To The Unbearable Pain of Child Birth 🙋🏽‍♀️ Even The Kids She Delivers Bear Your Name Till the day she dies, everything she does cooking, cleaning your house, taking care of your parents, bringing up your children, earning, advising you, ensuring you can be relaxed, maintaining all family relations, everything that benefit you, sometimes at the cost of her own health, hobbies and beauty. So who is really doing whom a favour? Dear men, appreciate the women in your lives always, because it is not easy to be a woman. Maybe you've lost someone dear to you so you'd know when I say grief is the hardest emotion to ever go through. It dispatches you from reality, breaks your heart over and over again, sneaks behind your back and choke you. The guilt while grieving is like a blanket of darkness that swallows you alive. That little hope in your heart praying for them to come back by any means of miracle is unending torture. Having the thought and excitement to tell them something but being greeted with the reality of their nonexistence feels like a million daggers to the heart. I've read somewhere "Grief, is really just love. A love you want to give but cannot, all of that unspent love gathers in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your heart and the hollow part of your chest. Grief is really just love with no place to go" and do I bawl my eyes out every time I read it in my head because it holds too much truth in it. I wonder if I will ever have the strength to move on or forgive myself. Because grief really is a love with no place to go! 357 days✨🤍✨

Praying for everyone taking the exam next week, you got this and God's got you✨🤍✨

Dear (last year's) 12th graders here. 😊 We know we haven't been there for you at the right time. We know we haven't been a real family for you. We know we never gave you those encouraging words before it's too late. We know all that and more. And we apologize for it all. 🙏😔 We can feel the mental condition that you're in right now. We can imagine the pressure. We know it's overwhelming and seems out of control. 😪🤦‍♂️ But we also know something else. We know you got God. We know you can do it. We also know the State won't make it too hard on you. We know you are strong and active. We know you have a bright mind and big hope. 🤗❤ And we can do something for you. We will pray for you. As our neck is bent and our knees are bowed down to our KING we will mention your names and fight for you. We will stand by your side. For the coming week take care of your mental condition more than anything else. For you won't even do what you can do if you ain't fit mentally.
