Do all LCD panels use Level shifter. All LCD panels definitely need a Level Shifter, only its existence may be hidden. Panel with ears, Level shifters become one unit with the IC on the ears. BD8193 or SM4151 is an integrated IC Multi powersuply with Level shifters.

We have explained the level shifters above, that they do not stand alone as an ic, but are a unity of the IC Scan driver. There are various forms or circuits, depending on the type or type of panel used. The naming of the input and output pulses can also vary depending on the manufacturer that made them. IC Level shifter requires supply voltage: Vlogic 3.3v, Vgh and Vgl.

Scan driver (Gate driver) itself functions as an on-off control switch to turn on and off the LCD pixels from the sides of the screen. While the dark light of each pixel is controlled from the data drivers that are on the top or bottom of the screen.
