🤔 NFT 2.0: How It Will Affect Gifts On the docs.ton website, a review of NFT 2.0 and its significance for gifts was published. NFT 2.0 is a new mechanism that takes royalties into account:

1️⃣ Smart contracts remain compatible with TEP-62/66; 2️⃣ The off-chain metadata of the NFT includes a royalty_violation flag; 3️⃣ Gifting is free (no royalties are taken); 4️⃣ Any sale on the market pays royalties to the collection author; 5️⃣ If sold "bypassing" the system, the image blurs, and the NFT is blocked in marketplaces and wallets.

For sellers, almost nothing changes: you list a gift on Getgems or @Portals, set a price or auction, and confirm the deal. The difference is that now the market automatically withholds royalties to the collection author, and your net income = sale price − royalties − marketplace commission − gas.
