Just my 2 cents here, but I think NVG's are not nearly as necessary as many want them to be. The actual use of them is going to be so few and far between for the average person that I think it's much more worthwhile to spend that money on other aspects of preparedness. They are certainly cool, and I would love to have my own... but I wouldn't blow a bunch of money on them unless I was in a really good financial position

In a healthy economy, yes, rate cuts would be stimulating. But similar to 2008, if banks aren't lending, then lower rates won't really help people.
