Zakāh Al-Fitr ▪️It is obligatory on A person to give zakāh Al-Fitr before the ‘Eīd salāh. ▪️Why do we give? / wisdom Ibn ‘Abbaas رضي الله عنهما said: “The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) made Zakat al-Fitr obligatory as a means of purifying the fasting person from idle talk and foul language, and to feed the poor. Whoever pays it before the prayer, it is an accepted zakah, and whoever pays it after the prayer, it is just a kind of charity (sadaqah).” (Reported by Abu Dawood, 1371. Al-Nawawi said: Abu Dawood reported it from Ibn ‘Abbaas with a hasan isnaad) ▪When should it be paid? From the sunset of last day of Ramad‌ān, before going to pray Eīd salāh. ▪️How much should be given? Ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنهما said: “The Messenger of Allaah (ﷺ) made Zakat al-Fitr, One saa’ of dates or one saa’ of barley, obligatory on the Muslims, Bukhāri - 1407. ▪️The weight of the saa’ varies according to the type of food concerned, so when giving Zakāh al-Fitr by weight, one must make sure that what is given is equivalent to a saa’ of that type of food. A saa’ is approximately equivalent to three kilograms of rice. (Calculate into your country price and give accordingly or ask An Imām Or scholar there) ▪️Types of things you can give as zakāh Al-Fitr should be given is food for human consumption, such as dates, wheat, rice or other kinds of food that humans eat. the form of the staple food that is used locally, whether it is wheat, rice, dates or lentils etc.. ▪️can zakāh Al-Fitr given in cash? As for giving Zakah al-Fitr in the form of money, this is not permissible at all, because the Prophet (ﷺ ) said that it must be given in the form of food, not money. He clearly stated that it is to be given in the form of food, so it is not permissible to give it in any other form. ▪️whom should be given? At-Taubah 9:60 إِنَّمَا ٱلصَّدَقَٰتُ لِلْفُقَرَآءِ وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينِ وَٱلْعَٰمِلِينَ عَلَيْهَا وَٱلْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَفِى ٱلرِّقَابِ وَٱلْغَٰرِمِينَ وَفِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱبْنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِۖ فَرِيضَةً مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ Zakah expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed for it and for bringing hearts together [for IsLam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt and for the cause of Allaah and for the [stranded] traveler – an obligation [imposed] by Allah. And Allaah is Knowing and Wise. ➖➖➖➖ ▪️

What Is Recommended To Do On the Day of ‘Eīd Al-Fitr 1 - To take a bath on the morning of ‘Eid: - Ibn Umar would bathe on the morning of Eīd. Recorded in Muwatta of Imām Mālik (2/248) and others. Authenticated by Imām Nawawī in Majmoū’ (5/6). 2 – Wear the best clothes for the day. As for women, they should not beautify themselves when they go out to the ‘Eīd prayer-place in front of everyone: - It is also known that Ibn ‘Umar would dress in his best clothes for the ‘Eīd. Recorded in Sunan Al-Bayhaqī (3/281). Authenticated by Imām Ibn Rajab in Fath Al-Bārī (6/68). 3 – It is Sunnah to eat dates before we leave for ‘Eīd Al-Fitr Prayer: - Anas bin Mālik narrates Allāh's Messenger ﷺ never proceeded (for the prayer) on the Day of `Eīd-ul-Fitr unless he had eaten some dates. Anas also narrated: The Prophet ﷺ used to eat odd number of dates. Recorded in Sahīh Bukhārī (no. 953). 4 – It is Sunnah to say Takbīr (saying Allāhu Akbar): ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar used to say it out loud on the day of al-Fitr until the Imām came out (to lead the prayers). The chain of transmission is authentic as mentioned by Shaykh Al-Albānī in Irwā’ Al-Ghalīl (3/122). One can say: الله أكبر الله أكبر الله أكبر كبيراً Allāhu Akbar, Allāh Akbar, Allāhu Akbar Kabīra. - Musannaf Abdur Razzāq (118) on the authority of Salmān Al-Farsī. The Takbir begins after the night of Eīd has begun (after the last Iftār) and ends when the ‘Eīd Prayer is completed. 5 – Offering congratulations. Such as saying to one another: تَقبَّلَ اللهُ مِنَّا ومِنكُم Taqabbala Allāh minnā wa minkum - May Allāh accept (good deeds) from us and from you. - Abū Umāmah Al-Bāhilī would say the above to his companions. Recorded in Al-Hāwī fi Fatāwa of Imām Suyutī (1/94). Authenticated by Shaykh Albāni in Tamīm Al-Minnah (no. 355) It is allowed to say “Eid Mubārak.” 6 - It is Sunnah to pray the ‘Eīd Prayer outdoors: - Abū Sa’īd Al-Khudrī narrated: “The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ used to go out to the prayer-place on the day of ('Eīd) al-Fitr and al-Adhā. Recorded in Sahīh Bukhārī (no. 956). 7 – It is prescribed for the one who goes out to the Eid prayer to go by one route and return by another: Jābir ibn ‘Abdullāh said: On the day of Eid, the Prophet ﷺ would vary his route, i.e., he would go via one route and come back via a different route. As the month of Ramaḍān comes to an end, the question most of us are probably thinking right now is “How do I know if my Ramaḍān was accepted by Allah?”. There isn’t a 100% guaranteed way to tell exactly how much of our worship was accepted, but there is a pretty good indicator that can help you find out. And that is Istiqāmah (steadfastness). In other words, if we’re able to continue the good actions we picked up in Ramaḍān well after this month – that would be a major sign that our deeds were accepted. And likewise, if we're able to refrain from the sins we usually indulge in, well after Ramaḍān – that would be a major sign that our deeds were accepted. May Allah make us amongst those who carry the light of Ramaḍān throughout the year, and remain steadfast in His worship with ikhlāṣ (sincerity) and acceptance. May He pardon the deficiencies in our ʿibādah and allow us to witness the next Ramaḍān. Āmīn Yā Rabb.

Very little is left from Ramadan... but this very little could be very big! Don't make Ramadan over before it's over it's not Eid yet... Even if you're exhausted, stay in the Ramadan race until you actually reach the finish line!

Not long ago we were saying it's the FIRST Friday of RAMADAN, but today we are saying it's the LAST الله المستعان. If this is how quick and temporary this worldly life is, surely we need to make the most of every possible opportunity SO TAKE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO OFFER THE BEST PRAYER OF THE WEEK, BECAUSE NEXT WEEK IS NOT GUARANTEED🍂 @Islam_Is_Wayof_MyLife
