If this is with referring to his mother's vision of a moon before conceiving him, then this have been reported in several trusted sources, including the "Icon of Mystics" book by Khalifa Awwalu Baba Taofeeq. But if this is about a real life incident that occurred with Shaykh, then it is a lie that never happened. Kindly disregard & advise whoever told you this to fear Allāh and desist from peddling lies. Q101g/AskBarhamaTv How many time did sheikh visit Nigeria? Answer: Assalaamu alaikum The simple answer to this question is that I don't know. Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse's robust relationship with Nigeria started with his first visit to Kano in 1946 and since continued when he proceeded to visit Lagos, Azare, Okene, Jos, Kaduna, Lokoja and many other cities. But the exact number of times is unknown to us at this moment. This relationship between Shaykh and Nigeria was explored in details by his son Khalifa Ahmad Tijāni bn Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse (al-Marhūm) in one of his books.

Firstly, we are unsure of how many countries there are in the World, but a recent Google search pegs that number at 195. Due to his sophistication and by the guidance of Allāh, Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse (r) used to keep a record of the countries he visited, sometimes with details of his deeds in them. Most of these records are found in his Diwan - Sayrul Qalb, but are primarily recorded in his Rihlat - Rihlatul Hijāziyya al-Ula, Naylul Mafāz bil 'Udi ilal Hijāz and Rihlatul Konakriyya. Q101e/AskBarhamaTv Assalamu Alaikum. Is there any genuine source which confirm that Sheikh Ibrahim belong to Ahlul bait? Answer: Wa alaykumus salaam. Professor Rudiger Seasemann & many other scholars have traced the origin of this presumption to an incident that occurred when Shaykh was addressing some Shurafa from Mauritania & referred to himself as "one of them". Being "one of them" could be referring to their religion, maslak or any other attribute they could share in common. Hence, assuming that it refers to being from the Ahlul Bayt can't be proven. The more authentic & academically proven view is that Shaykh descended from the Prophet's companion 'Uqba bn Nawfil, who's expedition brought Islam to Africa. Wallahu A'lam

As you know, Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse (r) is a Sunni scholar from the Māliki School of jurisprudence, hence we can argue that his views on these matters are same with the view of the Māliki scholars. Women can pray in a congregational prayer led by a man, by forming their rows behind the last rows of the men. Congregational prayer led by a woman is invalid & Niqāb is recommended, not mandatory. Q101c/AskBarhamaTv How did Shaykh Ibrahim come up with his Faydha? was it the Prophet (s), Or he was authorized by Sheikh Ahmad Tijani, A dream, or he brought it with his own will. Answer: Assalaamu alaikum. Know, and may Allah bless you, that the Faydha doesn't belong to Shaykh Ibrahim, rather it is from Allāh, through RasuluLlah, through Shaykh Ahmad Tijāni (r). Sidina Ahmad Tijāni said: تأتي فيضة غلي أصحابي حتى يدخل الناس في طريقنا أفواجا "A flood shall come upon my companions, such that people will enter upon our path in throngs" Following this declaration, the honor of being the bringer of Flood became desirous. Many shuyukh vehemently sought in vain for this honor, including the grandfather of Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse, Shaykh Muhammad Mudambe. One of its former claimants, Sidi Abdullahi Shinjiti followed its light to Senegal & found it with Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse while he was still a teenager, but pleaded that he should await his demise before formally declaring so. In 1929, Shaykh Abdullahi Shinjiti died. The news of his death reached Leona during a Maulid. This was when the rising star and a seasoned scholar, Ibrahim Niasse (s), declared his status. He said: وتأتي قريبا فيضة الختم هيئوا بتفريغ أغيار فتحظى بموضع "The flood of the Seal is coming, so prepare for it by vacating all others from your hearts". This declaration was met with harsh repercussions, but the matter was already concluded and Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse (r) became the only undisputed claimant to the Faydha till this day.
