Sub-headings/connectors in essay through contrary proverbs (Read msg before opening file)
This is something really unique I had seen in a topper copy(130+ marks) and even discussed with a selected friend. You can use this proverbs as subheadings as well as connectors in essay. Illustrating with an example.
👉Contrary Proverb: "all good things come to those who wait but time and tide wait for none"
👉Using has connector: If the essay is regarding having patience, and you want to show the opposite aspect as to how patience can hurt sometimes so you can change the tone of essay by
"Yes, it's true that All good things come to those who wait but it's also true that time and tide waits for none".....
👉Use as heading: 'Time and tide waits for none'
Note: Use it while it's novel and unique, and i feel it will remain unique for 1-2 years.
Check the pinned post where I have organized all the content you can find on this channel. Also, Did the illustrations help?

Repost from LIFE & UPSC with Shubham Ajmera
Hi everyone, (if you have failed prelims or scared of it, read this in depth)
My 2 most famous courses➡️
1. PYQ logics video
2. Prelims diagnosis course!
Infact i have done diagnosis of so many students who ended up giving mains this year (and some interview too) ✨
📌Some important reasons why people fail in Prelims in repeat mode are-
❌ Don’t know subject wise hit ratio needed (avg of passed candidates hit ratio vs your hit ratio subject wise)
❌ If someone got 70, and plan 105, mostly don’t know how many marks what subject is going to give (calculation depends on doable questions which we get wrong)! This decides our preparation and revision strategy!
💡 And we use to do this accurately in Prelims diagnosis course! And this year we will go a step ahead, we are going to launch this in association with Prayas AI, and some deliverables you will get in this after filling your 2025 prelims answers (marked in real exam or if 1st attempt then attempt it)
✅ Potential score subject wise
✅ Your hit ratio subject wise comparing to hit ratio of students who pass prelims
✅Number of easy questions wrong
✅ One time mentorship call to clear all doubts and get a passing framework for Prelims!
This is a course which NEVER existed in market, I have INVENTED it with an attempt to bring individual level basis feedback in prelims prep which is largely absent! Will also send an audio about it in evening! If you are failing Prelims in repeat mode and can do hardwork, this will be the key for you, I promise you this from bottom of my heart🙏
Hit ❤️ if excited!
Feedback on our revision modules! If you take all subjects combined you do get a discount! Do check out the samples, incase of any doubts text on @sidiswel

🚨 DAY 16: 30 DAYS ETHICS ENRICHMENT SERIES
📚 Topic: ASCH Classical Study
📖 Meaning:
The Asch Conformity Experiment (1951) is a classic social psychology study conducted by Solomon Asch to investigate the extent to which social pressure from a majority group can influence a person to conform.
📖 Key Points:
1. Objective:
To understand how people are influenced by group pressure and whether they will conform to the majority even when the majority is clearly wrong.
2. The Experiment Setup:
a. Participants were asked to participate in a visual perception test where they had to match the length of a line to one of three comparison lines (labeled A, B, or C).
b. In each group, there was one real participant (the subject) and several confederates (actors who were in on the experiment).
c. The confederates were instructed to give the wrong answer deliberately in some trials.
3. Findings:
a. 75% of participants conformed at least once by agreeing with the incorrect majority.
b. On average, one-third of the participants conformed to the incorrect answer in the critical trials.
c. Participants often knew the correct answer but still conformed to the group's incorrect consensus, indicating the power of peer pressure and group influence.
💡 Conclusion
The experiment demonstrated that social pressure could significantly influence individuals to conform, even when the group is clearly wrong. This phenomenon is now referred to as "peer pressure" or "conformity".
Asch concluded that people are motivated to conform due to a desire to fit in (normative influence) or because they believe the group knows better (informational influence).
💬 Key Quote:
"Conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth."
– John F. Kennedy
👉 Application:
1️⃣ Use this concept in questions related to Social Influence and Persuasion. There has been a question on Social Influence in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan(this PYQ was covered earlier in this series).
2️⃣ Mention this study in Case Studies whenever you have to persuade public to take some action.
Hit ❤️ if you found this useful.

News📣: India to Launch it's first semiconductor chip👩💻.
✅Launch by End of 2025
On August 15, 2025, during his Independence Day speech, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that India’s first fully made-in-India semiconductor chip will enter the market by the end of 2025.
He noted that six semiconductor units are already operational, with four more approved recently.
✅Technology and Production Timeline
Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has said the chip will be in the 28–90 nm range📊, a segment that covers approximately 60% of global semiconductor demand in automotive, telecom, power, and railway applications.
Confirming this, he stated again in mid-July that the first “Made-in-India” chip will roll out this year, and that six plants have been approved and are under construction.
✅Fab Partnerships & Infrastructure
The chip is being developed under the Semicon India programme🔤. The fabrication facility is being set up at Dholera (Gujarat) through a partnership between Tata Electronics and Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation (PSMC).
✅Parallel Aerospace Chip Progress
Separately, IIT Madras and ISRO have successfully designed and booted the IRIS chip, a 64-bit RISC-V-based microprocessor tailored for space applications.
🔥Significance:
✔️This signals a major step toward self-reliance in semiconductor manufacturing, a domain long dominated by nations like the US, Taiwan, South Korea, and China.
✔️The focus on 28–90 nm chips indicates India is targeting mass-use applications rather than bleeding-edge nodes, establishing a practical and impactful starting point.
✔️Multiple fabs , talent and ecosystem development show a holistic, strategic push in building a sustainable semiconductor industry💵.
✔️The success of the IRIS chip demonstrates homegrown capability in advanced, mission-critical domains such as space applications.

✅ Day 2: Diagramification of your Mains Answer
🏹Theme: Land & Soil Degradation: an evergreen area for Mains, cutting across GS1 (Geography) and GS3 (Environment, Agriculture, Conservation). Desertification and soil health questions keep returning in different forms every year.
Almost every aspirant writes "29.7% of India's area is degraded, 18.39% population affected" as plain text: the examiner has read that same line a hundred times in a day. Draw these 2 simple pie charts in your intro or body instead, and the same data instantly becomes the highlight of your answer. A diagram takes barely 20-30 seconds to draw, but it stays in the examiner's memory while marking.
💡Such researched, ready-to-draw diagrams for GS1,2,3,4 are compiled in the Diagram Booklets on Civil Services Compass app (click here for app link) ⬅️
