Al-Imaam Ibnul-Qayyim “Certainly, most of creation, they only want to fulfill their needs by utilising you, even if that harms you in your religion or your worldly life. Their only goal is fulfilling their needs even if it harms you, and the Lord - Blessed is He and Most High - only wants to utilise you for you. He wants to do good to you, for you - not for His benefit, and He wants to remove harm from you, so how do you hang your hopes, your expectations, and your fears on other than Him?!” Ighaathatul-Lahfaan 1/96
