AudioStuffs : "yeah, our files are verified with VirusTotal" Meanwhile them : (look at 2nd screenshot) I will be honest. Once again. I'm impartial. Every file can possibly get intentionally being scanned as "malware". It can be an error But seriously AudioStuffs, stop saying that all your files are safe or something like that, nothing is 100% secured (finally, I defend no one)

Heyo guys, now I am writing this because I'm tired of the "war" between @AudioStuffs and @audioplexx, read because it's important FIRST, you need to know that I don't take sides with either of them. As always, I'm the impartial guy who's trying to solve problems 🤓 (Note : AudioStuffs will be named later as AS, and AudioPlexx as AP) THEN, I will explain the problem for the ones who didn't saw it. It started with the accusation from AS that the content of AP contains malwares. FYI, some people started since some weeks to share malwares in group chats, well more actively than before. Those accusations are based on VirusTotal scans (basically the files are scanned by +60 antivirus softwares). Accusations continued with AS saying that AP team are scammers and noted that the owner were constantly changing his name as if he no longer wanted to be contacted. AP owner is still okay for being contacted for anything that is linked to that problem and tried to defend himself. Accusations raised with AP saying that an admin of AS gets a mental illness and AS team saying that AP owner is stoned OUT OF THOSE CHILDISH INSULTS, I'm going to tell you my opinion. As I were banned on the 2 AudioStuffs groups (dafuq, why guys ??) and as I know none of the admins there, I can't express their pov on this (if you want to, contact me). On the other hand, I were able to talk with James (owner of AP). Here are his statements : • His channel were meant for a small audience, not for being shared a lot like it were on AS support list (this is why he were changing @’s) • VirusTotal scans were fooled because the archives are password protected • Some of the AS admins were upset because he posted some things before them • One guy called Nelish started to insult him when he were asking for help No comments from the AS team as for now… will be updated if we get some Nelish pov now : • He taked a look at VirusTotal scans saying that some files contains malwares (mining, trojan and ransomware) • The same files from AS didn't have those signatures • Maybe this have gone too far but AS team were right • The insults wasn't on purpose. At that time, he didn't knew that James were AP owner + James banned him without reason NOW MY OWN POINT OF VIEW + EXPLANATIONS : 1) The VirusTotal can effectively be wrong. Because scanning all the files would take too much time, the scans are based on checksums, which is way faster, whatever the size of the file. But… sometimes it gets fucked up, due to something we call "Hash collision". It's when 2 files have the same checksum, this is rare but it can happen. Learn more here 2) If they were effectively a malware inside, then it's the AP owner fault, point, case is over. 3) AS admins were right to share this, but wrong to say that the whole channel is bad/malwared 4) If people are wondering about the files from the channels, they can still scan them by themselves NOTE FOR CHANNEL ADMINS : From now, always scan your files before uploading to avoid that FOR END USERS : If you don't trust, run local scans by yourself FOR AUDIOSTUFFS : Stop bullying James for a little mistake. You discredit yourself, most of the tg musical community is against this practice and you'te ruining your image FOR BOTH AS AND AP : Stop this war. Using your subscribers as an army for attacking the image of the other channel is childish as fuck If anyone have something else to say, PM me (@EDM115) Peace 🕊️
