Primary Responsibilities
Developing NGO partnerships
Identify NGOs having work experience with children & women, Malnutrition, Healthcare setting to collaborate.
--Gather as much as information about the NGO along with pictures of the condition of the villages then to share with the team for approval
--After approval coordinate with NGO for introductory assessment visit
Coordination with NGOs
As JDF representative provide guidance to the NGOs for process of daily procedures - Explain ways to share pictures, videos etc for clarity on headcount process
--Biweekly call with NGO founder / secretary to discuss issues or any challenges at the programs
--Setup monthly calls with NGO founder with US / Delhi team to discuss progress, challenges if any
Administrative
--Remind NGOs to submit the expenses on weekly / monthly basis along with proper documentation at the end of every month
--Verify expenses submitted by NGOs every month by each line items and match with the attendance as per headcount
Timing - Monday to Saturday ( 9 am to 5 pm )
Location - Indore /Bhopal
3 weeks of Travel to Rural villages, 1 week work from Home
Should have reliable fast internet for Daily Video call with team
Eligibility :
Masters in Social Work
Resident of Madhya Pradesh ability to speak native language

Location of Consultancy Deliverable: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh with frequent travel to Vidisha, Raisen and Narmadapuram
Duration of engagement: 2 months from date of signing of contract. This period can be extended if the deliverables are not achieved.
About the Organization: Sangath (www.sangath.in) is one of India's leading mental health research non-profit organizations. It was founded in 1996 with its headquarters in Goa; major hubs in Delhi and Bhopal, and project sites in many parts of the country.
About the work:
The consultant will be actively engaged in conducting qualitative research under EMPOWER, WellMe and PracticePal projects.
About EMPOWER-
Project EMPOWER in Phase 1 involved training Community health workers (ASHAs) across three districts of Madhya Pradesh (Raisen, Vidisha, Narmadapuram) in psychological treatment of depression (Healthy Activity Program-HAP).
Essential criteria-
Post graduate degree in public health/Social work/Psychology with experience in undertaking qualitative research
Certification/experience in qualitative research methods and good research practices
Experience of doing qualitative research in community settings
Desirable criteria:
At least 5 years of work experience in undertaking research
At least two publications in the field of qualitative research in a peer reviewed journal
Consultancy fee:
The consultancy fee will be deliverable based (Max. INR 80,000/- inclusive of all applicable taxes for two months (INR 40,000/- per month based on deliverables) and will be disbursed based on the successful accomplishment of deliverables.
