I will be travelling to Bhutan for a personal excursion.

Many people know about the Seven Star Lamp ritual from the story of Zhuge Liang.
When he was seriously ill during the Northern Campaign, he set up seven lamps in the formation of the Big Dipper to extend his life.
But very few people know that the original master of this technique was actually Jiang Ziya (Jiang Tai Gong).
Jiang Tai Gong was the legendary strategist who helped King Wu of Zhou overthrow the Shang Dynasty more than 3000 years ago.
He was not just a military strategist.
In Daoist traditions, he was also a master who understood the celestial star systems that govern human destiny.

Because of this, Jiang Tai Gong created a ritual to petition the Seven Stars to modify destiny.
This later became known as the Seven Star Lamp ritual (七星灯续命法)
Later famous figures like Zhuge Liang and Liu Bowen were also said to have used similar methods to alter fate.
But the root of the method traces back to Jiang Tai Gong.
