Senior MEP Project Engineer (Kitchen Equipment)

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MEP Project Engineer to lead and oversee our kitchen equipment installation projects. You will be fully responsible for the project lifecycle—from site handover to testing, commissioning, and final delivery—ensuring all MEP utilities (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, gas, and ventilation) perfectly match technical specifications and international hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Manage and oversee the complete execution and installation of commercial kitchen equipment across various sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- MEP Site Coordination: Supervise and verify all on-site MEP connections (electrical loads, water supply, drainage, and gas piping) to guarantee exact compliance with equipment technical data sheets.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, main contractors, consultants, and internal production teams to resolve high-level technical discrepancies.
- Subcontractor & Team Supervision: Manage, schedule, and evaluate the performance of site engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Testing & Commissioning: Lead the testing, startup, and commissioning phases of all kitchen machinery and secure official handover approvals from clients/consultants.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including variation orders, progress reports, and look-ahead schedules.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of solid experience in MEP construction projects (direct experience in Commercial Kitchens, Catering Equipment, Hotels, or F&B projects is highly preferred).
- Deep knowledge of MEP shop drawings, load schedules, and equipment specifications.
- Proven track record in managing sites, subcontractors, and dealing with consultants.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management tools (MS Project / Excel).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English (Written and Spoken).
