✨🌙The Last 10 Nights of The month of Ramadan🌙✨
Dear All,
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Just a reminder regarding the last 10 nights of Ramadan that night precedes day in Islamic tradition and the new date starts at Maghrib.
Hence the last 10 nights of Ramadan begin tonight (Friday night) for those who started one day after time of Saudi (first fast on Sunday 3rd April).
Please seek to avail each of these nights (not just the odd nights). In its widest expanse any night of Ramadan could potentially be Laylatul Qadr and certainly any of the last 10 nights as is well known (with of course special efforts singled out for the odd nights for obvious reasons). Those who restrict themselves to the 27th night, know that many of the great scholars through whose work the religion was preserved & reached us opined that Laylatul Qadr moves and is not fixed to one particular date. There are evidences for each of the aforementioned, *the wise person casts his/her net as far and wide as possible to cover all possibilities.*
From tonight, exert yourself in worship, repentence & du'a - and please make special mention of the sender of this message (both the original lowly writer, and anyone who forwards it hoping that others may benefit or be encouraged) in your du'as these last 10 nights.
May اللَّه allow us all to attain the blessings of Laylat al-Qadr and Ramadan at large. آمين
Jazakumullahu khair 🌹

🌸✨ A menstruating woman and a woman who is suffering from post-natal bleeding should continue seeking closeness to Allah (سُبحانه وتعالى) through actions of obedience in Ramadan, moreso in the last 10 days of Ramadan! 🌸✨
🌺 SOME ACTS OF WORSHIP THE MENSTRUATING WOMEN CAN ENGAGE IN:
1. Dhikr of Allah, from Tasbeeh (saying Subhan-Allah), Tahmid (saying Alhamdulillah), Takbir (saying Allahu Akbar) and Tahlil (saying La ilaha illal lah).
2. Al-Istighfaar (seeking forgiveness) and Tawbah (true repentance).
3. Listening to the Qur'an.
4. Sending salutations upon the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).
5. Making an abundance of duaa for herself and the Muslims.
6. Giving charity.
7. Helping others.
8. Cooking for the people who are fasting.
9. Feeding/giving Iftaar to needy people.
10. Reading books of tafseer & fiqh.
11. Reading the meaning of Qur'an.
12. Listening to knowledge/broadcasts of lessons.
13. Participating in circles of knowledge.
14. Teaching knowledge.
15. Enjoining the good and forbidding the evil.
16. Calling to Allah within her scope and capability.
17. Performing all ritual acts of Umrah with the exception of Tawaf.
✨ Also, from the virtue of Allah is that He (سُبحانه وتعالى) writes for a person whatever good deeds he/she used to do before being prevented by something (you will be rewarded even when you are not able to carry it out due to a valid reason).
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
"When a slave (of Allah) falls ill or travels, then he will get reward similar to that he gets for good deeds practiced at home when in good health."
📚: Sahih Bukhari 2996
Compiled from various sources
Share with Others In sha Allah. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "Whoever guides someone to goodness will have a reward like one who did it." (Sahih Muslim 1893 (4899))
#ramadan
🕋🌟 بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم 🌟🕋
🌴 Reving Sunnah in Ramadan 🌴
5. Engaging in dhikr & tasbeeh
Abu Ad-Darda [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated that:
The Prophet said: “Should I not inform you of the best of your deed, and the purest of them with your Master, and the highest of them in your ranks, and what is better for you than spending gold and silver, and better for you than meeting your enemy and striking their necks, and they strike your necks?” They said: “Of course.” He said, “The remembrance of Allah [Most High].” [Then] Mu’adh bin Jabal [may Allah be pleased with him] said: “There is nothing that brings more salvation from the punishment of Allah than the remembrance of Allah.”
[At-Tirmidhi]
So, while working or commuting, you can easily make dhikr, and remember that even though in normal days the reward of this act is big, it is even bigger in Ramadan.
Az-Zuhri said:
“A Tasbeehah in Ramadan is better than a thousand Tasbeehah in other that it.”
[At Tirmidhi]
6. Setting a realistic Qur’an memorization target
Set a realistic target for reading as well as memorizing something of the Qur’an this Ramadan.
It could be a few verses only that you memorize, understand and apply, it could be a page or a Surah.
Seek Allah’s Help, and add something to your heart from the Book of Allah this month. This will make you feel more accomplished by the end of the month.
The Prophet and his companions used to engage with Qur’an like no other time during this month. So, make this month’s relationship with the Qur’an special too.
🤲 May Allahﷻ enable us to implement each one of these qualities in us, آمــــــــــين

Lessons we can learn from the Battle of Badr 🌹
✨ About the Battle of Badr 🌼
On the 17th of Ramadan in the second year of Hijrah, the Muslims led by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ partook in their first ever skirmish, known as the Battle of Badr.
🌸 How did the Battle of Badr Start? 🌼
The Muslims aimed to intercept a Meccan caravan along a Syrian trade route carrying weapons to be used against the Muslims. Meccan spies learned of the Muslims plans’ and informed caravan leader Abu Sufyan who then altered his course to Mecca to protect the caravan. Subsequently, Abu Sufyan contacted Quraishi tribe leader, Abu Jahl who gave the order to gather troops from Mecca.
💖 Some lessons for us🌹
1. How Many People Fought at Badr?
In this key battle, an army of only 313 humble Muslims defeated an army of 1000 well-equipped soldiers.
“And already had Allah given you victory at Badr while you were few in number. Then fear Allah ; perhaps you will be grateful.”
Quran 3:123
“How many a small company has overcome a large company by permission of Allah. And Allah is with the patient.”
Quran 2:249
2. Victory is only from Allah.
After winning the Battle, Allah reminded the believers that it was only through His will, they were victorious.“And you did not kill them, but it was Allah who killed them. And you threw not, [O Muhammad], when you threw, but it was Allah who threw that He might test the believers with a good test. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.”
[Quran 8:17]
“And Allah made it not except as [a sign of] good tidings for you and to reassure your hearts thereby. And victory is not except from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise”
[Quran 3:126]
3. Never undermine your prayers.
Prior to the Battle, the Prophet prayed immensely for Allah’s support. He would say “Oh Lord, if we are defeated, You will not be worshiped at all on Earth”.[Remember] when you asked help of your Lord, and He answered you, “Indeed, I will reinforce you with a thousand from the angels, rank after rank.”
[Quran 8:9]
This prayer was not only answered, but the Battle proved pivotal in the survival of Islam until our current day.
4. The Power of Allah is Endless
By Allah’s decree, Angels descending from Heaven came to assist the Muslims in this battle. A handful of dust in the Prophet’s hand was also transformed into a gigantic whirlwind that dispersed the enemy.
“Yes, if you remain patient and conscious of Allah and the enemy come upon you [attacking] in rage, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand angels having marks [of distinction]”
[Quran 3:125]
Rabee’ ibn Anas says: “Allah aided the Muslims on the day of Badr with 1000 [angels], then He increased them in help, so they were 3000, then He increased them in help, so they were 5000.”
Ali Ibn Talha narrates from Abdullah Ibn Abbas, that the Messenger of Allah raised his hands on the Day of Badr, saying “Oh Lord, if this group is destroyed, you will not be worshipped on this world at all”.
Angel Gabriel then instructed him to take a handful of dust and throw it in their faces. So the Prophet took a single handful of dust and threw it in the direction of their faces. There wasn’t a single disbeliever (from the enemy) left except that this single handful of dust entered his eyes, nose, and mouth. They were all then left on their backs dispersed.
5. How did the Muslims win?
[The Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ struggle] alongside his Ummah proved victorious in this battle due to their ability to stand firm, steadfast and united. While the Quraish proved frail and hence easily dispersed after being misled by Satan.
And [remember] when Satan made their deeds pleasing to them and said, “No one can overcome you today from among the people, and indeed, I am your protector.” But when the two armies sighted each other, he turned on his heels and said, “Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I see what you do not see; indeed I fear Allah. And Allah is severe in penalty.”
[Quran 8:48]
