Steps to seek forgiveness & repeat
⭐6. Follow the bad with good & atone for your sins
Allah says: “Indeed good deeds erase bad deeds.” (11:114)* If one has wronged another person, one should atone for the sin e.g. ask their forgiveness or supplicate for them.
⭐7. Seek forgiveness during the best time
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Our Lord – Glorified and Exalted is He – descends every night to the lowest heaven when one-third of the night remains and says: ‘Who will call upon Me, that I may answer Him? Who will ask of Me, that I may give him? Who will seek My forgiveness, that I may forgive him?’” (Bukhārī)
⭐8. Seek forgiveness in the best manner
(See Sayyid al-Istighfār)
⭐9. Make repentance your constant companion
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever wants to be pleased with his scroll of deeds should increase in seeking forgiveness.” (Tabarānī)
‘The state of tawbah is at the beginning, the middle and the end of the slave’s journey to his Creator. The servant who seeks the pleasure of Allah never abandons tawbah. He remains in the state of tawbah until his death.’ (Ibn al-Qayyim raḥimahullāh)
Allah says: “Indeed, Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves.” (2:222)
⭐10. Seek forgiveness for others
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever seeks forgiveness for every male and female believer, Allah will record a good deed for him for every male and female believer.” (Tabarānī)

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته 🌟
📌 *From My Heart to Yours* 🌼
Sometimes, due to trials, our pains become unbearable, and life becomes too difficult . It often seems very difficult to observe patience . We often ask ourselves, 'Is this the end of my dreams? Will my duas ever be answered? Shall I give up?'
At such times, step back and tell yourself, 'Allah would not have allowed you to make that du'a if He didn't want to answer it 🙏. Allah would not have allowed that du'a to stay in your heart if it wasn't meant for you' 💖. Maybe the reason behind your du'a not being answered is because you think it won't be answered, or you're hasty in seeking a response 🕰️.
It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (Peace and blessings be upon Him) said, 'The du'a of any one of you will be answered as long as he is not hasty in seeking a response and does not say, "I prayed, but I have not had a response"' 📖 [Bukhari, Muslim].
So, do not give up and be hasty; it is a sign of arrogance if you do so 🚫. Have tawakkul (trust) that your duas will be answered at the perfect time 🕰️. Keep faith and be patient, for Allah is with you 🌟."

✨ Repentance and Hope ✨
In the last week's post we read Sheikh Ahmad Ibn `Ataa’illah As-Sakandari emphasizing that if one's faith weakens after making a mistake, it reveals a reliance on personal efforts rather than on God's boundless mercy. He advises those embarking on a spiritual journey not to depend on their good deeds as provisions. Instead, the journey should begin with sincere turning to God, trusting in Him alone, and hoping for His mercy to guide them. The concept underscores that Allah's mercy isn't contingent solely on one's deeds but is constant despite human shortcomings. Thus, starting with reliance on Allah's mercy sets the right foundation for spiritual growth.
But both turning to Allah and hoping for His Mercy have to be accompanied by repentance from one’s mistakes and errors. According to Allah’s universal laws, if one wants to put anything in a certain place, there should be room and space for this addition. Faith and light are no exception. Thus, if I want to fill my heart with faith, light and Allah’s remembrance, I should first create some room in my heart that is not occupied with all sorts of objects and desires. Only then can I fill my heart with goodness, or as the Sufi expression goes: Purity, then beauty, then light (al-takhalli thum al-tahalli thum al-tajalli).
Therefore, I must start this journey with repenting to God from my shortcomings.
{And always, O you believers – all of you – turn unto God in repentance, so that you might attain to a happy state!}.(An-Nur 24: 31)

💎 FRIDAY REMINDER 🌸
Whoever Has a Peaceful Friday🫀
Will have a Peaceful Week.
Friday is a day of Worship🛐💜
❗ Whoever’s Friday is sound and peaceful, will have peaceful week.🌸
❗ Whoever’s Ramadan is sound and peaceful will have a peaceful year.🌸
❗ Whoever’s hajj is sound and peaceful, will have a sound and peaceful life.🌸
Friday is the scale used to balance the week, Ramadan is the scale used to balance the year and Hajj is the scale used to balance of the rest of our lives.🫶🏻♂️
[Zad Al-Ma'ad (1/386)]
From Aws bin Aws ath-Thaqafi who said I heard the Messenger of ﷺ saying:
'Whoever performs a perfect Ghusl on Friday then goes very early to the Khutbah, walking and not riding, sits close to the Imam, listens and does not speak or keep himself busy then for every step towards the Khutbah is the reward equivalent to a year of fasting and praying.'
[Collected by Ahmad, Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi & authenticated by Al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jama as-Sagheer' no. 6405]

⚜️🤎 Send lots of Salawat upon the Prophet 🤎⚜️
Sending ṣalāwat upon the Prophet ﷺ on Friday is better than on the rest of the days, and its night (Thursday night) is the best of nights.
He ﷺ said, “Among the best of your days is Friday, so frequently send ṣalāh upon me therein.”

Steps to seek forgiveness & repeat
⭐1. Realise the grave consequences of sinning
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Verily, when the slave commits a sin, a black dot appears on his heart. When he desists, seeks forgiveness and repents, his heart is polished clean. But if he sins again, it increases until it covers his heart. And that is the ‘rān’ (rust) which Allah mentioned: ‘No indeed! Rather what they have been doing has rusted their hearts (83:14).’” (Tirmidhī)
⭐2. Don’t belittle a sin
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Beware of sins which are deemed as insignificant because indeed they gather on a person until they destroy him.” (Ahmad)
Abdullah ibn Mas‘ūd (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) said: ‘The believer regards his sin equivalent to a mountain, beneath which he is seated, and fears that it will collapse on him, whilst the sinner regards his sin to be equivalent to a fly which lands on his nose and he swats it away.’
Don’t look at any sin as being insignificant. Rather, look at the greatness of the One you disobeyed.’ (Bilāl ibn Sa’īd raḥimahullāh)
⭐ 3. Stop sinning & resolve to never return to the sin
Al-Fudhayl (raḥimahullāh) said: ‘Asking for forgiveness without abandoning sin is the repentance of liars.’
⭐ 4. Regret your sins and cry over them
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Regret is repentance.” (Ibn Mājah)
People! Your hearts are essentially pure, but they have been stained with splashes of sins. So splash on them in turn the tears of your eyes and you will find your hearts purified.’ (Ibn Rajab raḥimahullāh)
Ibn al-Qayyim (raḥimahullāh) said: ‘The pleasure one feels at sinning is more harmful than the sin itself. A believer never enjoys the fruit of his sins, but rather feels a remorseful ache within him. If this ceases to occur, and the joy of sinning overpowers any feeling of remorse, then that is a sign of a dead heart.
To rectify this situation, one must do the following three things:
Fear dying in such a state before having the chance to repent.
Regret over what one missed out on by disobeying Allah.
Work very hard to atone for the sin and to avoid it in the future.’
⭐ 5. Perform wudhū and pray two rak‘ahs
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When a servant commits a sin, and he performs wudhū well, and then stands and prays two rak‘ahs, and asks forgiveness from Allah, Allah forgives him.” (Abū Dāwūd)
