Just harvested my first peach from one of the peach saplings I planted last year. Only three peaches total but that was way more than expected that soon after I planted it! The thing is still a stick, basically. It was unbelievably sweet and full of nectar. Perfection.

🚨 Sri Lanka has completely collapsed and the Prime Minister declares the nation bankrupt 🚨
Watch carefully for what comes next. I hate to be cynical, but the problem with a situation like this is the temptation to accept aid and assistance at the cost of newfound sovereignty will be too much for most hungry, tired, gaslit people; and the snakes that run this world know it. I sincerely hope they don't take the Faustian deal that is certain to be offered.
In either case the people of Western nations can learn from what unfolds from now.
