A Tale of Three Narratives Narrative #1: The White man hunted the buffalo to near-extinction because of greed, carpeting areas the size of entire cities with drying buffalo hides. Narrative #2: The Indians hunted the buffalo to near-extinction because of appetite, driving thousands of the animals off a cliff at one time to secure just a few days worth of meat and supplies. Narrative #3: The American government hunted the buffalo to near-extinction to drive the Indians to starvation and submission in order to secure territory. There's no way to know exactly which is true, but there is one narrative we see being repeated today. And we know history is just the recycling of the same operations over and over. So in my opinion #3 is the most likely to be true. @AltSkull48
